Introduction
So many people see the word "Health" differently and it tells in their action if the value it or not.
Nobody wants to be sick, but when one is sick it cause inconvenience and can be very expensive. One doesn't only feel bad when sick, but may not be able to do his/her regular routine, even to make money, or look after his/herself. One may even need someone to look after him/her, and one may have to pay for expensive medicines and treatment.
So for me health is life especially on a journey to ushering a new life, so this week I decided to get off my comfort zone and pick up an healthy habit so as to stay fit, healthy, strong and be prepared for me and the new life coming. That why am sharing with you all the healthy habit I just cultivated which was not part of me at first and also to know what more can be done.
What i do to stay healthy
- Exercising: Working out has been one of the difficult things I have tried in years to continously carryout. I begin with enthusiasm but unwilling to keep up with it till the end, I guess I need some more motivation to do so. I have begin the journey this week and so far am doing well thought it doesn't have to be the strenuous ones.
- I eat healthy: Having a good health is impossible without good nutrition, and for good nutrition i need a healthy, balanced diet. I have considered the intake of salt, fats, and sugar, and am watching the size of my food portion. Because i can't get all the nutrients i need for the food i eat, I've included fruits and vegetables in my diet. To be honest fruits were things I eat at intervals and when I feel like eating it, but now I have come to terms with a quote by Socrates saying:
"Eat to live not live to eat".

I practise good hygiene: Picking my nose is one of the disgusting habit am trying to quit, when picking my nose, to me I want to make it clean but I need up injuring myself and contacting flu and as well so robbing my eye with unsanitized and unwashed hands. My efforts of keeping my hands off my face is yielding fruits, I do that by carrying hand sanitizer around and use them where there's no water and for my nose picking, I make a reminder every 5 seconds on my phone saying "keep your hands off your face" and it helps.
I do what I can do: Being anxious of what you cannot do or what you have no control over can causes one to develop mental health. So for that not to happen I have developed the habit of doing things I can do and leave the ones that I can't do or have control over.
- I get enough sleep: On a regular day I hardly have time to sleep because one has to hustle but I have come to notice that rest is a necessity, so for that I have made it a priority. That means I get enough sleep a day and that do get me relaxed.
Conclusion
My life have had a total u-turn doing this, I tend to be more happier, relaxed and fit while doing other thing and am glad I have shared with you my healthy habit I cultivated and am hoping for more suggestions to had to the existing ones.
