🌸 Greetings🌸
To all my friends!
On STEEMITHEALTH
I am @snigdharoy
From #Bangladesh.
I want to let everyone know that I too had tuberculosis. It is not long since I recovered from tuberculosis. But even today I remember how much I suffered during the time of tuberculosis. The pain I experienced during tuberculosis made me realize how much agony people used to die in pain. Today I will tell about my TB experience in your community and give a small message to my STEEMITHEALTH friends.

My Symptoms
After three or four days I noticed that a mild fever was coming through my body. The fever used to come first in the morning and afternoon. I used to eat napa to cure fever without giving much importance to the matter. But day by day the fever increases in temperature and duration. It is accompanied by persistent dry cough and severe pain in the right side of the chest.
I didn't pay much attention to the cough. Rather, I thought the pain on the right side of the chest was a gas problem and took gas medicine. But it didn't work.

After nine days, I went to the Upazila Hospital, and there the doctors gave me urine and blood tests. The test only revealed a urinary infection. So the doctor discharged me with some minor medicine.
But my fever, cough, and chest pain did not subside at all. Rather, it is associated with vomiting three to four times a day. As this continued, my father took me to Rangpur and the doctor there gave me a urine, blood, cough, X-ray, and ultrasonography test.
A pleural infection of the right lung was detected on ultrasonography. X-ray and cough test revealed TB positive. Then the doctor gave me some TB medicine of BRAC to take for 6 months. Then we left with the medicine.
My sufferings:
During that time I was always lying down. I could not sit with my head up let alone stand. I could not sleep at night or day properly. The cough started between two and three o'clock in the morning and I used to vomit with that cough. Excruciating chest pain was felt repeatedly during the day and night. The doctor advised me to eat more and more. And it was important for me. But I couldn’t eat anymore. Rather, I used to vomit whatever I put in my mouth. So the doctor prescribed some vitamins and saline was injected into my body through a tube to increase my condition.

Three months passed like this and my vomiting also stopped. After another month, the chest pain has significantly reduced, and the cough is almost gone. I could stand up but not for long. The joints of the hands and feet were painful.
The doctor suggested I eat more(especially consume more liquid food), take more rest, and walk. I ate more, took a rest more, and walked home. Thus for 6 months, I was cured by eating and drinking, taking medicine, walking, and resting.
A little Message for my friends:
"The present age is the age of competition". All of us are constantly competing with someone in some sector or the other. And we made our life so busy trying to win these competitions that we forgot to enjoy life. we forgot to take care of ourselves and our health. We tend to worry so much about one of life's failures that we forget to enjoy life's many small moments of joy.

The same thing happened to me. The doctor told me that this disease had settled in my body 3-4 years ago due to my lack of diet, rest, and sleep. Now the disease is manifested due to the reduction of my immunity.
As well as we must take care of ourselves. Eat a balanced diet, Drink 2-3 liters of water at least, Sleep 7 hours, stay clean, etc. We must do this because we cannot compete if we are not healthy. And obviously, give much time to your yours. Because we need the consolation of our friends, family, and beloved persons during our failure. Without further ado, I am ending my post.
Stay healthy, safe, and happy...
