Whether young or old, new or old members, we all have experiences on this platform either positively or negatively. I've been on steemit for a year and definitely I got experience to tell the newbies on this platform. My experience can go a long way in helping many newbies who consider their stay here a waste. I'll do this by interviewing myself literally.

What challenges did I face when I joined this platform and how did I overcome that challenge

Personally, it wasn't easy as a newbie as I didn't have anyone to guide me at first. I felt reluctant creating posts as most times I won't see a single vote. Just imagine me creating up to 10 posts In a week and none was supported. Why weren't they supported? I took my time and made sure I created a unique post just to realize my efforts were in vain.

I was totally discouraged and left steemit for a while. I was later brought back by someone who chose to help me on my steemit journey. She explained everything I needed to know about the platform.

I was like, "Wow". See what I was novice about. I realized that I wasn't following the rules of posting on steemit and besides I wasn't even posting in communities. I took my time in learning the basics before going back stronger.

My first post after going back earned me $12 of which i had lots of rewards back then. We usually earn in SBD, TRX and Steem power. The conversion was just too nice that we were about to grow our account with just $3.

I learnt and started implementing what I learned. I brought as many into this platform. To be successful on steemit and to be able to manage your account as a newbie, you need to set targets for yourself.

Know that you cannot expect 1M when started a new business. You need time to grow in the business. Same with steemit, you need to grow your blog by creating contents consistently and not waiting for them to pay out before we start posting the next one.

There's a user on steemit I'll love to interview next time, asking how she accumulated a steem power close to 1k in just 4 months of joining. Her experience will also motivate you. She might even tell her the secret to her being consistent.

Just be consistently creating contents, engage on the platform and see how your steemit journey would be interesting
