Amigos de SelfDevelopment Club. Este es un interesante concurso, que nos lleva a reflexionar sobre el trabajo en línea que hacemos para la plataforma Steemit y otras. Se plantea como una serie de concursos con un tema central. Esta semana nos pide describir el lugar, equipo y condiciones de nuestro trabajo en línea. Acá mi participación.
Friends of SelfDevelopment Club. This is an interesting contest, which leads us to reflect on the online work we do for the Steemit platform and others. It is planned as a series of contests with a central theme. This week we are asked to describe the location, equipment and conditions of our online work. Here my participation.

Trabajo en casa, la mayor parte del tiempo lo hago en la sala algunas veces en n la mesa del comedor y ocasionalmente en la cama (desde el celular). Tengo una mesa pequeña con ruedas que me sirve de escritorio, y la cual puedo mover a diferentes lugares. Generalmente estoy cerca de la entrada pues es donde mejor recibo wifi.
I work at home, most of the time I do it in the living room, sometimes at the dining room table and occasionally in bed (from my cell phone). I have a small table with wheels that serves as my desk, and which I can move to different places. I'm usually near the entrance because it's where I get the best Wi-Fi.

Prefiero trabajar desde mi laptop, a la cual debí incorporarle un teclado pues el teclado original de la misma se dañó. Agregué también un mouse y un aro de luz para las conexiones por video. Igualmente, auriculares. Entre mis planes esta adquirir una PC de escritorio o en su defecto otra laptop.
I prefer to work from my laptop, to which I had to add a keyboard because its original keyboard was damaged. I also added a mouse and a light ring for video connections. Also headphones. Among my plans is to acquire a desktop PC or, failing that, another laptop.
Tiempo dedicado y Limitaciones | Time and limitations
En lo posible busco trabajar en horas de la madrugada (alrededor de 5:00am) y dedico unas tres o cuatro horas continuas para hacer curación manual desde Tipu Project Curator y para la Comunidad Seven Network. Y para mantener activa mi cuenta.
Whenever possible, I seek to work in the early morning hours (around 5:00 am) and dedicate three or four continuous hours to manual healing from Tipu Project Curator and for the Seven Network Community. And to keep my account active.

La principal limitación a la que me enfrento es la mala calidad de la señal de internet, lo que enlentece considerablemente las cargas de páginas y el voto mismo. El pueblo donde vivo tiene una geografía particular donde es dificultosa la recepción. Espero solucionar eso pronto adquiriendo un plan de internet con otra empresa que ofrece acceso por fibra óptica y así mejorar mi ancho de banda y tiempo invertido.
The main limitation I face is the poor quality of the internet signal, which considerably slows down page loads and the vote itself. The town where I live has a particular geography where reception is difficult. I hope to solve that soon by acquiring an internet plan with another company that offers fiber optic access and thus improve my bandwidth and time invested.

Soy jubilado y trabajar desde casa a mi tiempo y ritmo, me da libertad para realizar muchas otras actividades, últimamente me he dedicado a la cría artesanal de lombrices para obtener abono para el huerto, que he comenzado a cultivar. Adicionalmente también trabajo con consultas on line y realizo curso por internet con aplicaciones como Zoom y Google Meet.
Espero con interés la continuación de este concurso e ir descubriendo nuevas cosas sobre mi actual manera de trabajar on line para Steemit.

I am retired and working from home at my own time and pace gives me the freedom to carry out many other activities, lately I have dedicated myself to artisanal breeding of worms to obtain fertilizer for the garden, which I have begun to cultivate. Additionally, I also work with online consultations and take courses online with applications such as Zoom and Google Meet.
I look forward to continuing this contest and discovering new things about my current way of working online for Steemit.
