SEC S15W5: "My Country and Her Mineral Resources."

The full name of Pakistan is the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Pakistan came into existence on August 14, 1947. Pakistan is located in the south of Asia. It is famous all over the world for its fertile land, high mountains, rivers and beautiful valleys. The plains here are famous all over the world for their fertile and abundant production.

Almost all kinds of fruits are produced here, which are considered among the best fruits in the world in terms of taste. Pakistan is a fortunate country in the sense that Allah Almighty has blessed it with a natural environment.

And the physical environment has a profound effect on the economic, social, social and other activities of the inhabitants of any country. Due to its location, Pakistan is of special importance not only in South Asia but also in the whole world. Pakistan is the main link between the East and West world.

Nature has enriched Pakistan with various types of minerals such as gold, copper, coil, gas, salt, Granite. Pakistan is rich in metallic and non-metallic mineral deposits. Located in Balochistan's Chagai district, the Rekodic project is the second largest deposit of gold and silver in the world.

Pakistan is the only country in the subcontinent which has been blessed with natural gas by Allah Almighty. Pakistan's largest salt mine in terms of area and second largest in the world in terms of production is located in the city of Khoiram in Pakistan.

And Pakistan is also the country with the third largest coal reserves in the world. There are vast deposits of marble and granite in the tribal areas of Pakistan. According to experts, there are seven thousand million tons of marble and granite in the mountains of Khyber Muhammad and Bajaur districts

If we talk about harnessing and using these resources, unfortunately Pakistan has not fully utilized them. There are many reasons behind this. Due to many political and administrative issues, Pakistan has not been able to take full advantage of this natural wealth. Pakistan has always preferred to import manufactured goods rather than manufacture them.

So Pakistan has always exported raw materials. Apart from this, the second major reason is that we have a huge shortage of resources, meaning we lack tools and equipment and modern research and machinery. ‎

Pakistan is a developing country. The government of Pakistan collects its revenue through tax and natural resources. So what is obtained from these mineral resources is spent by the government of Pakistan for the welfare of the people. Like education and medical facilities and infrastructure etc.

Everything is done by the government for the people. As I mentioned that there is an Gold and copper project of Recodek which is still in district Chaghi of Balochistan, so where it is working on mines, there has been a lot of development work in that place.

The company that took this project that company is building roads there, building hospitals and international standard schools for the locals, so in the same way these resources are being used for the welfare of the people.

25 percent of the earnings from this mine is getting to the Balochistan government and 50 percent to the federal government, so these two governments are spending this money on the welfare of the people and a lot of development work in Baluchistan happening.
