Good day friends. I welcome you all to my participation in this week’s acceleration contest. Also. I’m posting in this community for the first time and I hope I’m welcome.
Before you were introduced to Steemit, what physical or digital work did you base your income on?
I’ve always wanted to earn money from the online world and I’ve been earning in the online space for so many years. What I based my income on is on my grocery shop. I have a grocery shop here in Lagos Nigeria and that’s what I depend on.
Also, there are times when I come across some platforms online which mostly pays to post articles and we call them the paid to post platforms. To be very honest, they don’t pay well but the little they pay is something.
I even went as far as engaging in sports betting but I could not make something good out of it. I invested in some other platforms as well but my efforts were futile
Right now, I only depend fully on my grocery shop until I found Steemit which I will use to upgrade my life very soon.
Have you been a victim of online scams? Is Steemit a breakthrough?
If you’re in search of someone who gets scammed almost everyday, you can boldly call my name. I get scammed almost everyday to the point that I really can’t remember all the things I have invested in again because of those scam activities.
I paid some people some money to introduce me to an earning platform where I read to earn and after making the payment, I got blocked.
I’ve got so many stories like that but now that I have found Steemit and I’m here to stay, there will surely be a way to build something amazing and wealth on here. I’m sure that I will be able to achieve that aim.
Do you prefer writing on Steemit for a month in your home to working under someone for a month under duress?
Firstly, I don’t like the idea of working for someone. I’m a stranger on here and no one knows me but for those who know, working for someone is a No! So if I get the opportunity to write here on Steemit without anyone putting pressure on me, I will surely do it.
Bosses can be very funny. The expect you to be very perfect and extremely accurate. They can call at the middle of the night to ask you about a file. I even worked for someone sometime ago. I wrote articles on his blog but guess what, he made sure that he stressed me every now and then so that I can meet up to his target.
I will never underestimate the power of working with someone because that’s how we learn more as humans pending the time we create our company but it may not be advisable because you need to always meet up to their plans and you may not have time for yourself.
Writing at my comfort zone can be very peaceful and interesting. It is fun to me and if it’s like a work, then it is like a baby’s work. So, I prefer writing my articles here on Steemit.
Has steemit made you a bit independent financially than how you were? If yes or no, how and why? Explain with reasons
No lies here, I’m just a newcomer and I am still trying to get familiar with communities on here and also to make new friends on here. I just know that with time, I will be financially independent with the help of Steemit.
When I joined two days ago, I checked the articles of other people and saw how much money they were making. I was motivated and said to myself that I will make it big on here and so shall it be.
Imagine your life without Steemit and tell us in 3 sentences as the concluding part of your post.
There’s a phrase my dad says that if you are not here doing something, you will be elsewhere doing something else. If I’m not on Steemit today, I will surely be doing something else but it’s never going to be like Steemit.
Steemit isn’t just an avenue to make money but an avenue to build wealth for those who take it seriously which I’m really going to do.
On this case, I’d like to invite @sahmie @joan-na and @yakspeace to participate in this contest.
