My Neighborhood Watch #94 - Reporting Events Around us

Hi everyone I welcome you all to my blog, I am delighted to share what is happening in my community, so that each and everyone of us can learn from the event that's happening around us. My contribution to the topic are stated below.

There was heavy rain on Sunday evening on the Eid al-Fitr Muslim festival, although the rain started to drop lightly. Before the rain began to fall, my friend told me to come and accompany him to his cousin's newly constructed building. Upon our arrival at the new site, we noticed a coolness in the sky which indicated that the rain was on its way. Once we had checked all the necessary things on the site, we began to walk out to the street because it is hard to find motorcycles, tricycles, or taxis.

As we continued our journey, the rain started to fall from the sky. We saw a house covered with a roof, so we waited and stayed under it to protect ourselves from the rain. The wind was too strong, to the extent that it affected some buildings as well as some unfinished buildings, schools, and nearby shops. We thanked God that the school was on holiday and the students were with their families. If not, many students would have been injured. Some of the affected places had already started to reconstruct everything so that when the next rain comes, it will not damage their property.

The electricity poles were also affected, and the community in that area will suffer from electricity outage because the National Electric Power Authority (NEPA) will not turn on the lights. Their businesses will not operate for weeks until they find solutions to the problems they face. Most of these people selling cold drinks to university students, so with the absence of electricity, they may experience a major setback in their business.

This is what I have for today, and I hope other members will share what they are experiencing in their area. I would like to invite @entityo1, @solaymann and @jasminemary to come and participate in this contest.

It really a sad one. most especially when it rains like this with wind 🌬️ blowing down and destroying many things..
I'm also happy that no life was lost though it affects the community runs but I pray they fix it on time and work perfectly to protect better against any form of destruction by wind or any climatic changes again.

Rain this day blowing serious wind and I pray the next rain will not affect our property and no life will not be lost
