When friends betray me

in your understanding tell us what you understand by the word betrayal?

Betrayal is an act of distrust, particularly when you tell your friends a secret and reveal such a secret to someone else you are not related to. Betrayal is a common word used to describe people who mislead you in the wrong direction. Betrayal often happens within a family, among friends, and between two lovers.

Your friend, whom you consider your best friend, can date your girlfriend behind your back without knowing, that act is considered betrayal. Some citizens betray their country by leaking secret information to the enemy, which may eventually result in war or an attack from another country.

Have you ever been betrayed by anyone? Tell us what happened.

It's very common these days for a friend to betray their close friend. Some friends trust their friends to the extent that if people do not see both of them walking together, they will ask about the other one. I remember when I was in college, there was a friend of mine we used to relate with. In fact, our relationship kept getting stronger day by day, and we used to visit each other to the extent that his father knew who I was. His main job is phone repair. I contacted him because I needed a cell phone since the one I was using developed a fault. He said there was one available and that it was in good condition. Since he's my friend, I didn't question him because I trusted him. Upon hearing that, I visited him and collected the phone.

I plugged the phone into my socket, but the phone was not charging. I called him and told him about the phone's condition. He denied that such a phone was in good condition. I continued to disturb him, and later he collected the phone from me. Till this moment, he has not returned the money and the phone. So, he is the kind of man who betrays the trust I had for him.

we know that betrayal may lead to heartbreak, tell us ways to heal from such betrayal?

I give myself enough time so that I can think toward a positive direction and also study the behavior of new friends that I have just met. Sometimes, I seek advice and support from family and loyal friends whenever someone misleads me. Their support helps me heal from such bad acts. I forgive people who betray me, but the thing that brought us together will not happen again. It's a small world. Why not forgive? Forgiveness is important because it lets the mind be at peace. I protect myself by setting boundaries so that the harm I've experienced before will not occur in the near future.

How do you deal with people who have broken your heart several times?

I used to have patience whenever this happened to me because God is behind those who have patience. I will look into the situation if this happens for real, and if I find it's true, I will limit myself from such a person. I will stop talking to him or her, and all the benefits he gains from me will also cease immediately. Sometimes I may report to his parents about what he did to me. If the parents do not take action, I will confront him directly. If he apologizes and states the reasons why such an act came up, I will forgive him because God loves forgiveness.

Conclusion

Betrayal affects relationships that have existed for a long time. We must learn how to stay away from betraying friends because they can lie to other friends about things that you did not say.
