You reiterated that ‘My Country is Nigeria. Found in the Western part of Africa is home probably one of the most culturally diverse civilizations, homing over 370 tribes and over 525 native languages. This would definitely be a fantastic site for a linguistic enthusiast. Despite having this compendium of languages, there are three major languages being Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa languages but ironically none of the above mentioned languages is the official language of the Nation neither is any other native language. The official language of Nigeria is English (British) yet contrarily the most widely used language in Nigeria is the Pidgin English a catchy blend of English and other indigenous languages. One fun thing about the Nigerian Pidgin English is that you can almost never be grammatically wrong with it.’ I concur with what you said above and I really enjoy speaking the Nigerian Pidgin. It so much fun.
Great post you have here. Best regards and success in the engagement.
