Greetings and welcome to another beautiful edition of the green spotlight. The Green Spotlight a weekly blog were I review inspiring and interesting books geared towards whetting the reader’s appetite to actually get to read these books.

This is our 25th edition and it’s been an awesome ride cos in The Green Spotlight we believe that reading gives us that green light which is synonymous to success.

It’s been raining relationships lately and this weeks review will simply be a continuation in the line of relationship and we would be reviewing an awesome book tittled “Model Marriage”. Woooow, am excited already! Shall we?

My opinion about the book “Model Marriage”

Introduction/Theme

Marriage they say is a beautiful thing and we all want to get married someday and would love to have what we term a model marriage where everything we envisage happens.

Be it as it may, the term model marriage from the authors perspective is possible else why the book. Many people want model marriages but are not ready to model the model marriage they want.

Knowledge is key and becomes power when the knowledge is applied. Who wants a model
Marriage? Am sure you do. Let’s clean some wisdom from these pages, shall we?

Key points from the chapters

The book model marriage is a voluminous book of over two hundred pages and its divide into 16 sections, each sections geared at delivering something versatile in relation to marriage. Let’s succinctly look at these 16 sections in a group of four sections.

• The first four sections treated subjects related to the newlyweds as beloved, how the church officially recognizes the marriage, how the newly weds are to be counseled and then proceeds to deal with the subject of marriage by defining marriage.

It went ahead to elaborate on the biblical reason for marriage, the Godly marriage type, a Christian home, treat the subject of love inside marriage, how to communicate in marriage and also dealt with the issue of faithfulness and unfaithfulness.

• The second set of sections dealt with the issue of temperament and understanding in marriage, the issue of solving problems in marriage, in-laws and step homes and also treated the issues of divorce

It proceeded to teach on the issue of acceptance between spouses, how we understand the human body with picture clarifications, the introduction to sexual Happiness in marriages and all you need to know about sex and marriage. It’s all comprehensive. You need to read this book.

• The third four sections talked about more principles of sex, treated more on temperaments and how to relate sex with your spouse’s temperament, and also on how to develop a temperament that is spiritually matured.

It proceeded to deal with the issue of having sex as couples at an older age, and all you need to know on how to improve your sexual lives as married couples.

• The four last four sections dealt with the issues of pregnancy and how to know when you are pregnant, the common challenges associated with pregnancy, how to take care of yourself and what to expect during pregnancy.

The subject of parenting was discussed in full and also that of adopting children. It went ahead to peruse the subject of losing a spouse and it went ahead to have a question segment where questions and answers that usually arise from married couples were asked and the answers duly provided.

My rating of the book

Model marriage as a book is a hand full and a detailed manual on how to have a model marriage. In my lists of books on marriages, I must say that it ranks first because it’s all comprehensive.

It’s like having a life time of questions answered in one book and I give it 10/10. Would you dig in and share your thoughts on my rating?

Conclusion

This books comes in handy to me cos I know that when am set to settle down maritally, I want a model marriage.

If you are like me, then you should do justice to reading this book yourself cos you are going to enjoy the ride all the way.
