My opinion about the book “Loyalty and disloyalty’’

Introduction/Theme

Have you noticed that one of the virtues that is lacking in our society today is the virtue of loyalty. We don’t seem to have men who are keen on the subject of loyalty and the amount of disloyalty and betrayal we experience these days in all facets of life is very discouraging.

This disloyalty ranging from the family, to the coperate world, to education, to the church and even to marriages. A lot of people have been stabbed and betrayed by disloyal people who were supposedly part of their train.

One of the best things that can happen to anyone is to have loyal people around you who share the same visions and thoughts and would stand by you at all times against all odds. It’s such a blessing.

Let see some points to glean from this great book of wisdom on loyalty and disloyalty so that we could learn how to know loyal people and those who are not around us. Shall we?

What is loyalty and disloyalty? What can a person do or what character traits can we see in a person to say they are loyal or not?

What signs can we see that would serve as a green light or a red light in having and knowing loyal people around us?

  • Loyalty is that virtue of been faithful to some thing or someone and not yielding to the temptation of betraying or deserting that thing or a person in the face of difficulties or challenges.

Disloyalty is simply the opposite of loyalty. It’s the virtue of not knowing how to stand by people in the face of challenges or difficult. The disloyal person cannot wait to get out at any slightest provocation.

  • Disloyalty is a bad things and every leader know matter what sphere you are in needs to look out for disloyal people as they would always stall the work.

One of the ways to know disloyal people is to look out for Individuals with independent spirits. Two cannot work together unless they agree. Team work makes us win together.

People who do not want to work with everyone else to achieve common would always stall the progress of the work and would always bolt out at any slightest challenge. They should be fished out and dismissed before they spoil the work.

  • The virtue of loyalty can be cultivated and one of the ways to do that is to be fully persuaded. You must be convinced about a thing and why you are going into it to stay through to it. If you are not, you would chicken out later. Having persuaded men around is a great blessing.

This boils down to everything we do. As a steemian, are you persuaded? If you are, you would stay put even when it doesn’t seem to be working, because you know why you are here from the onset. Persuasion beings loyalty.

There are a lot of loyal people on this platform pushing and ensuring it works, that’s what every institution needs. The future is built on loyal men.

  • Do you know that if you sow loyalty when you work for others and with others that you would reap loyalty too? If you are loyal to people who are higher than you, you would have the same blessings when you need people to work with you.

Disloyalty is not good. What a man sows he would reap. Learn to follow, many people want to lead but not many are great followers. A good follower is loyal and would always want the best for whoever they are following.
