Greetings and welcome to my blog. I bring us the 34th edition of “The Green Spotlight.”

For those who are new to my blog, the Green Spotlight is a weekly blog where I review inspiring and interesting books which is geared towards motivating steemians to imbibe the habit of reading.

Readers we know are leaders especially when we practice the wisdom we glean from the books we read. The essence of this review is to give us a smidgen of what the books are all about and with that motivation and inspiration, we decide to get the book either in a soft copy or hard copy to go through it.

It’s a new year and one of the good virtues we can imbibe this year would be virtue to become an ardent reader. Having said that, let’s dive into the review for the week.

If you missed our last edition on “The Esther’s anointing”, you can find it here, Edition 33

This week we would be looking at a very interesting book titled “Every woman’s battle”.

My opinion about the book “Every woman’s battle”

Introduction/Theme

Every woman’s battle is a book that is written for women who are married, who are looking to marry and even if you do not want to marry, it would be a great book for advice to your loved ones.

Women face a lot of battles in their emotions and the temptations to remain faithful in marriage and not just men and this book deals with the battles women face and how to overcome them.

Let’s look at some interesting tips to take away from the pages of this great book.

Key points from the chapters

  • Shannon the author of every woman’s battle was faced with five different scenarios of near cases of infidelity though not sexually involved and from her experiences she began to unravel the temptation women could have in trying to maintain a godly marriage and not having a wondering heart.
  • One of the ways infidelity starts is through a wondering thought which will lead to a wondering heart and may cause a woman’s heart to wander from the partner leading to bridge in marital intimacy.

  • A wondering heart would lead to comparing your spouse with the men who you think that can give you more than you are getting and the more comparison, the more the distance that creeps into the fabric of the mutual and sexual love between marital partner.

A woman can learn how to gracefully contain all of her emotions as she embraces her uniqueness and needs and fight her marital battles. All of these and more are entrenched in the pages of this great book. Check it out!

You can make out time to see the book yourself or click on the link I provided on the authors name to have a glimpse of the book summary.

My rating of the book

A unique book I must say on this topic and the real life stories brings the entire book home. I give it a rating of 8/10.

Conclusion

Marriage is a beautiful thing if men and women knows how to fight their battles and face the challenges that wants to tear apart the marriage. It’s has to be a blend of sincerity and the willingness to make it work.
