"Who's sending you on this path you're about to embark on? Take a moment to reflect on your future, is this truly what you envision for yourself?" I vividly recall a conversation with my aunt, who didn't share my beliefs, when I was contemplating on the best decision of my life. She concluded by saying, "Impossible to do that." I responded by asking her to erase the first two letters and repeat her phrase. She said, "Possible to do that," and I left, determined, even when I felt a sense of impossibility.

This contest will reveal how I dared to defy the impossible, despite my family's reservations. Let's begin by answering the following questions:

Have you had experiences of things that looked impossible until you faced them?

I've faced numerous challenges throughout my life, spanning work, relationships, career, business, and more. However, today I'd like to share my experience with God's work, which I once deemed impossible until I faced it head-on.

In October 2023, I submitted an application to become a regular pioneer in my congregation, with the goal of helping to proclaim God's name, His wonderful works, and His promises to humanity. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I dedicated my life to God through baptism in December 2017. Since then, I've been seeking ways to express my gratitude to Jehovah for the gift of life. One way I demonstrate my love for my Creator is by sharing His good deeds with others.

That feelings when my application was approved

After a two-week review process, my application was approved, and I began my pioneering work in October. As a pioneer, I'm required to preach for 50 hours every month. Balancing work, business, and pioneering responsibilities wasn't easy. To manage my time effectively, I designated three days a week for preaching and allocated the remaining days for work. Initially, the work seemed impossible, but I've overcome it because I'm driven by a powerful motivation. What is it? Let's hop into the next question.....

What gave you the courage to face those seemingly impossible situations

My love for Jehovah was the primary motivator that gave me the courage to face those seemingly impossible situation. Just as a devoted son would eagerly carry out an errand for a caring father, I felt compelled to serve Jehovah with my whole heart. Jehovah's loving and caring nature is what drives me to loyalty and obedience, just as a son would willingly serve a father who has consistently shown him love and kindness.

Jehovah has entrusted me with a task through his Son, as stated in the Bible...👇🏾

"Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things" _ Matthew 28:19,20.

With this Bible passage in mind, I'm reminded that my role is to make disciples of Christ. This knowledge motivated me to preach regularly as a pioneer, and I'll continue to do so until Jehovah indicates otherwise. At times, discouragement from friends or family members can be a challenge. I, too, faced similar sentiments, and the next question will reveal how I mustered the courage to defy the impossible despite their reservations.

How did you handle advice from friends and family you wanted to make you do otherwise.

As I mentioned earlier, my aunt advised me against pursuing pioneering work, cautioning that I wouldn't have time to earn a living. Her words of discouragement almost swayed me. However, I handled the advice from my aunt by soughting guidance from my parents, particularly my father, who has been a regular pioneer for over 30 years.

My family as a whole helped me a lot

My beloved father

He asked me, "Son, do you believe in Jehovah, your Creator?" I replied, "Yes." He then inquired, "What have you done to demonstrate your love for Him, aside from attending church?" I had no response. He encouraged me, "Fill out the application to become a pioneer, it's a wonderful way to express gratitude to God." He reassured me, "You won't regret taking this step." Regarding financial concerns, he confidently stated, "Jehovah will always provide." He concluded by quoting a relevant Bible passage.....👇🏾

"So never be anxious and say, ‘What are we to eat?’ or, ‘What are we to drink?’ or, ‘What are we to wear?’ For all these are the things the nations are eagerly pursuing. Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. “Keep on, then, seeking first the Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these other things will be added to you" _ Matthew 6:31-33.

I'm happy serving Jehovah wholeheartedly

I took my father's advice instead of my aunt's to heart and now I'm wholeheartedly serving Jehovah, finding joy and contentment in my life. In conclusion, life is indeed filled with ups and downs, and sometimes our circumstances may seem insurmountable. My advice is to approach these challenges with courage and resilience, resisting discouragement from others. Ultimately, our determination will yield fruitful rewards.

I'd like to invite @josepha @weisser-rabe and @chant to participate in this contest.
