Explanation

---

In the community, we were asked to draw a squirrel. So today, I am going to share my squirrel drawing with you all. Without further delay, let's get started.

Step 01

	Try to draw a squirrel

For drawing, I gather all the necessary materials within my reach. Then, first of all, I draw a wooden branch with a pencil and also draw some leaves along with it. After that, I draw a squirrel sitting on the branch. It holds a small fruit in its hand.

Step 02

Sketch

Then, to give my drawing a beautiful look, I use gel pen to sketch over it.

Step 03

	Brunch Color

Now, I will move to the next step. I will color my squirrel now. First of all, I take brown and red colors. I color the branch brown and mix in a little red lightly.

Step 04

Next, I use dark green for the leaves on the branch. I color the eyes and the small fruit in its hand. I use brown for the eyes and red for the fruit.

Step 05

Use orange color in its tail

Now I will color the squirrel’s tail. I have used orange for the tail and lightly applied orange on its body too.

	Use yellow color in It's tail

Then, I used yellow for the white part of the tail.

Body color

Now, I will color its body. I have used yellow all over the body.

From the picture, you can surely understand that my drawing and coloring are complete. Then, I capture a selfie with it.

Yes, I have witnessed it several times.

What does it look like and does it have any economic importance to humanity?

Maximum people in my country, Bangladesh, is familiar with squirrels. They are mostly found on big trees in the rural or even urban setting. The colour of their skin is grey or brown with long tails and small ears. They are very agile and swift runners.

Basically, there is no way that squirrels are of any particular use to the economy of Bangladesh. But they are important for the environment. Squirrels playing the role of farmers, they hide seeds and nuts on the ground which in future develop into trees and assist in regrowing forests. They are useful in natural afforestation particularly in Bangladesh specially the sundarbans forest area. Moreover the squirrels are part of the biodiversity of Bangladesh and play a vital role in the food chain.
