Explanation

---

Today, I am going to share a starfish drawing with you. Without any delay, let’s see how I drew the starfish.

Step 01

	Start to draw

To draw the starfish, I first gathered all the necessary materials. Then, using a pencil, I sketched the star shape.

Step 02

Next, I carefully outlined the stars with thin pencil lines to create shadows.

Step 03

	Using Gel pen

Using a ruler, I drew lines through the center of each star of the starfish. Then, I used a gel pen to make the drawing more prominent.

Step 04

With the help of the gel pen, I added small and large spikes of different shapes. The starfish drawing is now complete. It’s time to add color.

Step 05

To begin coloring, I used yellow. I applied yellow to the necessary areas of each shape of the starfish.

Step 06

Next, I colored the white areas using a combination of brown and orange.

Then, I applied pencil colors along the thin lines I had drawn on the sides of each star shape to give it a shadow effect.

Me with Starfish

I was in Cox's Bazar in 2017, this is when I saw a starfish for the first time. While I walked on the beach, I suddenly saw it. Initially I was scared, I didn’t think something alive was going to be so beautiful. I touched it. its shape, arms, were so magical. I will never forget it. That day was truly special.

Tell us about starfish and the type of water it lives in.

The starfish is a really pretty creature. When I first saw it I was actually pretty amazed. It looks like a star with five arms. It’s body soft, but the outside hard and a bit spiky, which is scary and fascinating at the same time. Starfish eat snails, small fish and sea plant. The most interesting part is that if you cut off one of its arms, it’ll grow back. Nature’s magic is quite amazing.

Starfish are found only in salty seawater. Warm and temperate sea areas are where they found. Sandy or rocky places and near coral reefs where you can see them. They can’t survive in freshwater, they need salty wster. I never realized how starfish only lived in this type of environment, until I saw the sea in Cox’s Bazar.

The differences between a starfish and a kite.

Starfish and kites are totally different. A starfish is a living thing in the sea, and a kite is something people make of paper or plastic so we can fly it in the air. The starfish keepis nature in balance. The kite is only for entertainment. It’s really hard to compare and animal with an inanimate object.
