πππππ Captures and Arraigns three Persons For Offenses Involving Vandalism in Umuahia
Seven young persons have been caught by the Nigeria Security and civil defence corps umuahia the abia state command. The three suspected alluminium vandals were caught at the modern ceramics in umuahia the abia state capital.

Ceramics, Umuahia, Abia State.
They were arrested based on intelligence provided to the crack squad of the command with the support of the vigilante group having a reliable information. Two persons among the vandals are said to come from the state while one is from the neighbouring state. During the operation, a high number of alluminium roofing sheets were seized. This was made known to the public in a press statement by the corps Public Relations officer, Doreen Udugwu just on Tuesday this week.

According to the PRO of the NSCDC, similar operations were launched in Isiukwuato LGA where other suspects were also arrested. This time, four vandals were arrested miysubishi bus loaded with gas cylinders, cutlasses shovels, spanners and vandalized railway sleepers. They were also caught with another vehicle lexus ES 350. The operation was caried out by the crack squad of the NSCDC along with the Nigerian navy.
The suspects were seen to be paraded at the state command headquarters in umuahia and the commandant of the NSCDC stated that more opreations and investihations would be going on to checkmate and bring every persons involving themselves in criminal activitie.
There is no nation entirely free from criminal activities. The rising cases of vandalism is necessitating the increase for the protection of public infrastructures such as railways, pipelines, power installations, and facilties in schools, hospitals, markets and the rests. These infrastructures costs the government huge amount of money to in place.
The security agencies should be equiped with modern day security gadgets to enable them forestall criminal activities like vandalism. They should also be wel remunarated to boost their morale in fighting crimes. There should also be recruitment of manpower to cover the existing manpower shortage.

No excuse is enough to engaege into criminal activities. The youths should desist from comiting criminal offenses or crimes like vandalism or destruction of public utilities. They should engage themselves in meaningful ventures or businesses. The law frowns at criminal offenders and as such, the offenders would be brought to book.
The government on their own part, should empower the youths by creating business or employment schemes to keep the youths meaningfuly busy and contribute in national development.
