Introduction

A little bit of stress but more delicacies I had this week compare to the previous weeks; They're could be no better summary of this week to me without the above words.

Talking about delicacy as we all know (and even if you don't) is that unique meal that's so special to somebody. These type of meals are either rare to find or costly to afford or sometimes both.

Now I'm with a view that every food, considering how hard the economy is biting at a moment is automatically delicacy. Some persons like me who even though does not solve enough of their problems yet sneak out at least once in every week and when the week favours us, twice. We bring out money and get something different and a bit nicer to eat rather than our normal daily meals and we term it delicacy.

Problem doesn't finish, not at all so we ghats enjoy at least once in a while, this is why I believe we aren't doing the wrong thing. This very week however it's exceptional. Continue reading as I walk you through some of the delicacies I had this week.

My delicacies over the week

I had some delicacies in some days at different times over the week.

• Wednesday: Fried yam & egg:

It's a delicacy isn't it ? Well I had it and it was prepared by me. Yam here in my area is very costly, It's been consumed frequently only by the rich. The smallest tuber of yam is sold here at ₦1500 that's about 11.5 steem. This small tuber of yam I'm talking about can't do me more than once, never.

An egg in the other hand is costly as well and when complain about it the marketers will either tell you the dollar has risen or the it's due to the current economy. I've been wondering what all these flimsy excuses has to do with a hen laying eggs with no answer.

So on this day I decided to fry and eat yam and egg and it was super yummy.
The recipe was duly followed, just frying one before another .

• Thursday: Eba and Egusi soup

I had Eba and soup this week as well , quite a great recipe but this week with Egusi soup and not vegetables. This meal wasn't really prepared by me, I was given by my kind neighbour.

It was a normal morning for me, was again on my phone going through my normal stuffs when his lil son approached me with something I never recognized at first sight because I never payed attention to, infact I was busy and thought he was just doing his normal passing.

He said his mum said he should give me and who am I not to turn at this point? I looked lo and behold a food, not just a good but my favorite. I collected with that foodie smiles all over my face and sent my appreciations.

I was tempted to eat it at once even though I never planned to eat that early in order not to feel feeble lest it affect my chores and stuffs yet I did. The soup tasted so yummy and I enjoyed it.

• Friday: Pancakes

I bought this pancakes yesterday morning from a hawker who hawks different type of fast food on our street.
In as much as ain't a fan of buying cooked foods outside (because to me it isn't all safe ) yet I do buy from this woman for many reasons; everyone likes buying from her because her food I always nice to taste and she oeys much attention to her fastfood business, her place of cooking is always nest also. One other reason is that, I don't know how to fry pancakes alone, the last time I tried fry pancakes I ended up frying it undone.

Conclusion

Above are the 3 delicacies I had over the week. Some are delicacies to because of how rare it is to find while some is because of how costly they are all things considered, they're all special meals to me over the week.
