Introduction

As predicted by me last week about this week's weather condition donit came to pass, my first time predicting weather rightly, I'm glad. Last two weeks weather here in the island had been what many describeias normal weather.

They termed it as normal because they experience little rainfall just twice and not even much during the week with gentle breeze and not too much cold during the day. This was just the last week of the Month of August and I made a post on this project concerning the current weather, I predicted also for the coming weeks which we're in now that there will be much rain.

About this week's weather

The Cloudy Skies

We experienced little precipitation on the very first day of this week, just a little though yet it was very cold during the night. Expect explained that it's because it rained so much in some areas though within the island that's why there's so much cold.

On the early hours of Tuesday, it looked as though a heavy rainfall will occur, the weather gave wave for that but ended up not raining. During the noon, there was sharp sunlight that hasn't occured for a little while here . Even so, it didn't last for long before it changed to cloudy though it did not rain.

Wednesday and yesterday being Thursday we've been experiencing cloudy weather with little rain drops with no sunshine.

Today being Friday we are at a time of writing this post, experiencing quite heavy rainfall. The rain started when no one expected because it doesn't even form clouds, I personally was on an errand some miles away when it started, I went with no umbrella and who am that rain couldn't beat.
I managed to get home before it increased even much.

How the weather has affected me

As the weather kept swinging so was the temperature and as well general plans for the week.

Even though the several little precipitations which we experienced this week doesn't really last, this however disrupt some outdoor activities. I mostly work indoors throughout the day due to the nature of my job yet there happened to be innsome instances that I need to perform some tasks outside and this is when the little droppings affect me.

Umbrella as an option? Yes, I do carry the umbrella with me only when I'm walking and not when working.

One other way this week's weather has affected me is flooding on our street.

Flooded part of my street

This particular place as seen in the pic above is always flooded whenever there's continuous rain. The local mini gutter created by we the concerns who deems it as not fit doesn't allow free flow of water, it's gradually closing up even.

When water accumulate here, I talk less of other persons find it difficult to cross over. Forcing me to deep my legs in the not-so-good water which is likely to have dangerous earthworms and co in it. You can see the bulldozer tyre kept beside the road yet it doesn't really help save the situation.

My forecast for next week

We're already in ember months, a period of much rain here in Bonny Island of Rivers State. As expected, there'll be much rain next week , much more compare to this week's.
And as obvious as it is, when there's continuous rain the more streets and roads will be flooded including people's house's. This really has so much negative effects on people tho but we just have to prepare for it.

Conclusion

I'm gradually becoming used to the island's rainy and cold weather that I heard of becoming moving in, nothing spoil yet.

Hoping to read other people's weather and beware of how they've been coping with it.

Thank you so much @fredquantum. I appreciate you big

The flood in your street is little compared to what we have over here. We don't have a good drain system so it's usually bad when the rain comes.

Thank you for sharing

Wow . It's that bad.
We ghat to worry less, dry season will soon arrive.

That's correct 💯
