Introduction

Firstly I want to thank the steemit team for this engagement challenge that has kept us busy and together for a while now, we have been getting support and this motivates us to keep doing more.

I also thank @steem4Nigeria for this thought provoking challenge, let's go to the topic proper.

I am certain that if given an opportunity many individual will wish to change the present condition of our country Nigeria.

Let's look at the current state of Nigeria.

Current state of Nigeria

Honestly every citizen in the country called Nigeria will attest to the fact that we are all living in fear 😨 and the fact that it seems like there is no hope worsens the condition on daily basis.

Things like;

•Insecurity and violence.

The insecurity issue in Nigeria is rapidly increasing on daily basis, it has gotten to the extent that we all live in fear, we eat in fear, we sleep in fear, even while walking on the road we are not safe, when we are in commercial buses we are in fear, honestly it is so critical.

You can imagine someone who dressed up to church only to be killed by unknown people inside the place called the house of god.
You can imagine a group of people going from house to house killing people for no reason.
You can imagine a child that went to school only to be killed by his or her fellow student.

All this incident and many more has terrified all the citizens of Nigeria.

•Unemployment.

This is the factor leading to insecurity, many graduate's with masters degree ends up being commercial drivers while some join some bad gangs and this increases the rate of violence and insecurity in the country.

A country which the minimum wage is 30,000 naira equivalent to 250 steem and some good apartments worth 40,000 naira a month which is equivalent to 331 steem, how will the citizens cope, this has lead many to be homeless and frustrated.

•Food shortages

How will there be food when some group of unknown men are busy killing farmers and destroying thier farm produce, the little food the farmers are able to get are very expensive and not all can afford it especially those families who are large in number.

When you talk about imported food, the tax been paid makes the food so expensive and unaffordable for the poor masses.

• Low health care facilities.

Many people lost their life today because of low health care facilities, the standard hospital in the country are not affordable.
The health care facilities in the country do not have the needed equipments to save life, the ones that are equipped do not have capable hands to make use of those equipments as a result people die everyday.

So sad!

It has gotten to the extent that many people get depressed and commit suscide as a result of how bad the country is.

Reasons why I think that I will be suitable for this position

•Love;

The love I have for my fellow citizens will motivate me to do my best in changing the present condition of this country.

• Compassion;

It touches my heart on daily basis when I read or hear the news of bad things happening in the country, out of compassion I will change the condition of my fellow citizens.

The most pressing problem in Nigeria

All the aboved mentioned problem are really pressing on us as the citizens, but the killing is the most painful part of it.

No day will pass without you hearing a news of people who were killed by unknown group of men, this problem is affecting both the north, the south, the east and the west no part of Nigeria is exempted from this problem.

My Innovation to change Nigeria

•Insecurity.

If I have the power I will firstly look into the security section of the country, I will fish out why our military men's have not been able to stop violence and secure this country.

If is to get the more ammunitions and equiped our military men's I will see to it that I do that, I will try my possible best to get to the root of insecurity in Nigeria.

• Unemployment;

I will build more factories and companies to create more opportunities for our graduates who are jobless.

I will try my best to increase power supply and also provide transport companies to reduce expenses for the citizens.

• Poor health facilities.

Increments of salaries will increase the zeal of our doctors and nurses, most medical personnel are leaving the country because of poor salary.

Conclusion

Truth be told no human Government can bring lasting solution to mankind's problem because of the below reasons;

• According to what the bible says Humans were not created to rule themselves, because all humans have sin and fall short of Gods glory, and it doesn't belong to a man who is walking even to direct his footsteps.

Romans 3:23

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.source

Jeremiah 10:23

I well know, O Jehovah, that man’s way does not belong to him.
It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step.source

Human government will be destroyed while God's government will last forever.

So in all only God's Kingdom will bring a lasting solution to humankind problem,that is why Jesus Christ commanded us to pray for God's Kingdom to come, but until then God will continue delivering His servant.
