Diary Game on 08 Dec 2024 - Wedding Anniversary

It is another great day to be alive. Waking up each morning in good health is a beautiful reason to thank the Almighty God.

What more makes this day special? It is a day that marks a spectacular change in my life then, now and in the years to come. I know that by now, the readers would be salivating to know that special event.

But first, i have to start with my activities in the morning.

Cleaning Exercise at the Godswill International Stadium.

Prior to today, an announcement was made regarding the cleaning of the international stadium in Uyo, Akwa-ibom. Why such massive cleaning? Because we are going to have a spiritual event in that place. We are going to have a special convention in the stadium. So many of my christian friends outside Uyo city will be coming for the same purpose. So we have to prepare and keep the place tidy.

Since my sojourn in the city of Uyo, I have been longing to go and watch a match at the stadium, but it has not been possible due to other activities.

So this cleaning work marked my first time of entering the stadium as well as my family. We woke up very early as a family, prepared some meals, which we would share with some friends at the cleaning work. We know many would come and will definitely get hungry after cleaning work. So we prepared to help as much as we can.

This is me while getting prepared to leave the house with my family.

As we now left the house amd picked up a family friend on our way. Within few minutes, we arrived at the venue. The following pictures shows our arrival and the cleaning work proper.

We concluded the cleaning early because of a football match between two professional leagues in my country. The cleaning coordinator ensured we kept up with the terms of the stadium management.

At the car park, we refreshed ourselves with the refreshments we came with and now headed home. While going home, we wanted to get some few things for the next event at home. We drove to a mall and bought some things.

Wedding Anniversary

At the beginning of this post, I told you today was a special day for me and also my wife. It was the day we said yes I do to each other. Like I said, it changed my status from being a bachelor to a married man. 🤓🤓🤓🤓

This union have survived for seventeen years (17 yrs) and it is still counting. For some of us that are in that category, we will definitely know what it takes to be united for such number of years. I am not talking about living as strangers or neighbours in the same apartment, but as close friends, husband and wife, boyfriend and gjrlfriend and the best friends that I can ever think of. I am talking about the two of us being the shoulder the other person can lean on in difficult times as well as one to celebrate your joy and happiness with. That is simply what @ngoenyi my wife have proven to be for 17 years. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

She is a very special kind of woman and female breed very rare to find these days.

It is not as if it has been rosy and an easy ride for these number of years, but with love, patience, understanding, communication and respect for each other, we pull through thick and thin. We called in a family friend, whose marriage anniversary was a day before ours, so that they too will share their joy with us.
