Hello friends

I welcome you to my blog. As we are in the spirit of easter, let us celebrate and have as much fun as possible. It's only but once in a year!

What does Easter mean to you personally? Share your thoughts and feelings about this special holiday.

Easter is a season when we celebrate the resurrection of Christ, which is his victory over death. Since death was not able to defeat Christ, we Christians saw it as a big honor to celebrate our creator for this great victory, as it benefits us.

It's a day of immense hope and joy as we Christians celebrate the victory of light over darkness and the triumph of God's love over humanity.

Easter, personally, means a season to be happy because it comes with a great sign of victory. It gives me great joy when I remember the undying love of Christ for his people. This season helps me put my life in check and right with God.

I feel blessed and happy during the Easter season. That I am privileged to witness another Easter year gives me great joy.

How does your community celebrate Easter? Are there any unique traditions or events that you look forward to?

I come from Nigeria, in Idemili South, in Anambra State. Our Easter celebration is just as normal as in other communities that I know of. Easter season comes with lots of rice and chicken.

This season, families cook different flavors of rice and distribute them to various families. We share drinks, food, clothes, and shoes. Anything you feel you can give out is acceptable.

During Easter, there are no special traditions or events in my community, it's just go for service, return, and hang out with family and friends later in the day.

Easter is often associated with new beginnings. What new goals or aspirations do you have for yourself or your family this Easter season?

Yes, I see Easter as a season to make my ways right with God. It's a season of new beginnings and fresh starts. I usually align my ways and set out new goals to achieve before the first half of the year.

Thus, the year is not left out. I have set goals to live a life pleasing to my creator, devoting more time to the things of the spirit than the things of the world. I have realized that all I do revolves around my God, and so I have to put him first in everything I do.

I have also set new goals on how to reach my target this year because I feel I have developed new ideas, and I have to implement them for my growth.

What are some fun activities or games that you think would bring your family closer during Easter?

I have tried having an Easter baking time with my family, and it was fun and sweet. It was a time when everyone in my family participated in the baking process.

Some people would sieve the flour while others whisked the eggs or beat the sugar and butter, but everyone must have something to do. Sometimes we play and litter the whole kitchen with flour.

My family and I also have the Easter egg hunt. It was funny though, but I watched my mom and dad participate in this fin game, and we laughed so hard because their hunt was amazing. We had all family members participate in these activities. It was just a time together to create an impact, to feel loved, and to bond.

Share your favourite Easter memory from your community. What made it so special and memorable?

My Easter memory was an Easter I spent with my family in my home town. I traveled to my hometown the night before Easter. I was surprised to see my brother and wife with kids present; my sisters were all back. It was as though we were having a family reunion.

I was so happy to see all family members present because I had not seen them in 5 years, so this night was the greatest of all nights. My mom and dad never told me about their arrival, so it was a big surprise to me.

My brother was my best friend, and I missed him so much, so this alone was special to me. I enjoyed every time I spent with him; I ate from the same plate with him, went out with him, and engaged in other activities with him.

Each time I remember this memory, I smile and wish to have it soon.

In conclusion, the Easter season is not a time to fight or be bitter about anything. It is a time to love and forgive. If God died for us, his children, how much more can we not forgive each other?

Let me invite @pandora2010, @tripple-e @tripple-a to share their easter with us.
