Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 67: My Views About The Upcoming Nigerian National Meetup

We have to be intentional by all we do. Steemit.has been a source of livelihood to some of us . What else again can we do other than give it the required support? I think it deserves our support, hence the national meetup being hosted on the 30th November 2024.

Meetup is a way of creating the most desirable medium of awareness. It is a time when people are taught the need of why they are gathered, which in this case is in steemit. Creating awareness and sharing and sharing vital information among people to improve their performance.

It should be local or national meetups. I've seen different countries host their national meetups, but one interesting thing about ours is that we host both kocal and national meetups. This is one sure way to drive improvements among users in the platform. I am yet to attend any of them.

My explanation on the basis of having a national is already sounding like an ideal and est way of awareness. It is not only necessary but also one best way of growing the platform through information sharing, discussing, and resolving issues that ordinarily would be an impediment to continuity.

This is the first of its kind, and i am uncertain that it is not an anticipated gathering in futility but of greater essence to drive home important points for improvement. Nigerians need to be united for a common goal, and this would foster that.

Building bridges across the coast is one of the best ways to stay protected and guided when the weird wind comes. This is a time when mentors are reconnected back to for better days.

It has been a virtual interaction with most users in the platform. We are all great writers, and we do not look like what we write as we share different personalities outside the platform. People are vest related with when they are physically integrated with.

I have made several friends on the platform, and I would want to see all of them if that is possible. I want to share from their experiences the more. Great minds like @goodybest, @ngoenyi, @eveetim, @bossj23, and @okere-blessing. They are still many more out there.

Seeing steemcurator01 in the meetup means that the support of the steemit team is heavily in our mist. It shows they are behind us and ready to support this course in Nigeria to another level. What we are doing is an awareness. Therefore, having them would help get most of the clarifications we sort for.

So many unclear questions about the platform would be asked during the Q&A session, and this would be in good fate other than trying to undermine anyone instead. But I am sure that most of the questions would bother on support and why most newbies find it difficult to be sustained and supported.

There are lean chances of continuity by the newbies if not mentored correctly. They feel dissatisfied and discouraged after a prolonged time of little or no support. Though the mantra of no support is guaranteed is still in place, it shouldn't be skewed against upcoming users.

In summary, it is good to have a national meetup that meets the interest of everyone. A time when resolutions are given, hope renewed, and friendships built for better performance in the community. Thank you.
