**SEC S15W6: Meeting With the Steem4Nigeria Community Management**

Welcome to my blog, am @chukwu10 and today I will like to be sharing my view on this contest topic with you guys. How are you all doing as I hope that everything is really working out fine and good. It's really amazing working with these community after all these while, it's true that hard times and challenging times really come and go, but we all still stand firm and keep pushing.

How well do you know about the steem4nigeria community

I know this community very well, not just because it is a community owned by Nigerians, but also because it is a very good and friendly community. The community started when I was still a newbie in this platform, first I knew it from steemkidss and parents community, as you all can see these both communities are friendly and almost do things together.

Then steemkidss and parents was and still my favorite community, like I don't like posting in other communities, but as time went on, I started exploring the steemit platform, I found out about the steem4nigeria community and how it works, It just felt like another home for me, I love posting my contents, not just that it will be curated, but also I would be corrected whenever they find any mistake in my post. I can say that these community has helped me a lot both in growing and also in my mentality.

How did you know the community?. What did you know the community for

Alot has changed all these while in the community, there was a time when the moderators were not really active and a post can stay like 15 hours without been verified, but as time went on everything changed, I felt more love in the community, just like I said before, I knew about the community through steemkids and parents community, over there in that community, I will ask some of my friends if there is any other community friendly like steemkids and parents, they listed many communities but as a child I loved this community, so I created my contests in this Community.

I knew the community with good contests, I really like participating in contests because I like writing lengthy posts, and many contest that I see in this community are like no other, so I invited many of my friends to be active in this community because of the love they showed me when I was a newbie.

So far, has the management of this communitycommunity been doing what you expected ?

We are all homans and we all do fail, there are some things that might bring us down in what ever role we see ourself into, there was a time when the management of this community was really poor, I didn't take it personal because it was not in my hands to change it and I also know that it is not easy to run a big community like this one, but I knew that the owners are aware and we're making plans that could change the perspective of the community.

After sometime they opted to change their management board, I hard the opportunity to be among the moderators, but I knew that the work is not easy and also because am still under my boss and don't have much time to go through posts in the platform, because now am still struggling to create posts in the platform due to there is no much time for me, all I do everyday is to wake up, go to work and come back in the night and everyday.

I can say that now the community has been doing what I expected, now there are many moderators who lookout for the affairs of the community, also they set up big programs to help the newbies from different parts of the world, now posts are been reviewed as fast as possible, and they don't tolerate any form of bad doing in this community.

Do you have any recommendationsrecommendations for the steem4nigeria community on how best to grow the community to the next level?. If no, highlight our strengths and how to consolidate them

I don't really have much to say, but what I know is that the community has been doing great and fine. They are really trying in so many ways to see that everything is working perfectly. And some of those way are:

Setting up moderators who check and discipline those engaged in plagiarism: One of the strength of the community as I have realized is that they have set up some grop of people who check plagiarism and scout out those who engage in them. I have seen many users been muted in these community, because they have been warned for engaging in plagiarism but they refused to listen. I say that the community should keep this up and by so doing, things will work out even more fine than before.

Helping and organizing classes for newbies to learn about the platform: As we all know that steemit is all about learning and making new friends from around the world, this community has been doing a great job with this, they have a group of moderators whose job is to check and track the success of newbies, also these moderators help in teaching the newbies how to use the platform very well.

How can you show appreciation and support for these good work done by the steem4nigeria community and her management in the steemit platform

There are so many ways of showing apprection towards someone, by giving gifts or with kind words of encouragement, but now I don't have anything tangible to offer to the community and it's management other than these few words of advice and courage, I urge the community and her management to keep up on the good things they have been doing towards the newbies and old steemians in the platform.

I will play a very good part in making sure that the community is always striving towards greatness, I will contribute by making sure that I always share 10% of my reward to the platform as a token of appreciation and also to encourage the admin and mods to keep up in there good work, because I know that no good work goes away empty handed, the almighty will always come around to bless those engaged in this good work in one way or the other.
