What does Easter mean to you personally? Share your thoughts and feelings about this special holiday.

Easter is a feast celebrated by Christians and Catholics all over the world to memorialized the resurrection of Jesus Christ whom is known to be the son of God. This season is very significant to the Christian faith because on this season was the Lord Jesus Crucified for the sin of man, he died on the cross but ressurected on the 3rd day.

How does your community celebrate Easter? Are there any unique traditions or events that you look forward to?

Yes of course! In my own community, Easter period is full of different kinds of celebrations because it is also a holiday period to workers, students and business men and women. In this regards people do make use of such break time to travel back to the village for visitation and for different kind of festivals.

1. ASH WEDNESDAY & 40 DAYS FASTING
   The celebration do start with what we call ash Wednesday which is 40 days before Easter Sunday celebration. The 40 days period starting from Ash Wednesday to the last day which is Holy Saturday is called "Lenting". The Lenting period is always devoted to prayer, fasting and penitence.

The Lenting period also do introduce what is known as "Stations of the Cross" which are a 14-step devotion in Catholics that memorialized ok our Lord Jesus Christ's last day on Earth as a man.

1. PALM SUNDAY
   Palm Sunday is to memorialized the triumphant entrance of our Lord Jesus Christ into Jerusalem. On this day palm branches were cut and placed in his path which was lattered followed by his arrest on Holy Thursday.

2. GOOD FRIDAY

In my community, this day used to be very interesting though accompanied with deep emotions cause this was the day of His crucifixion and also the beginning of the Holy Week that also mark the conclusion of the Lent.

1. EASTER SUNDAY

Easter Sunday is a day to that commemorate Our Lord Jesus Christ's resurrection. After His crucifixion on Friday his body was taken down from the cross to a cave tomb where He was buried. The Romans soldiers were placed on guard and a big stone was set to seal the entrance. Despite that he ressurected on the third day.

Easter is often associated with new beginnings. What new goals or aspirations do you have for yourself or your family this Easter season?

My goal is to win more souls for Jesus so that He's coming and crucifixion to save mankind will not be in vain.

Again I will like to start a new business in order to diversify my streams of income just to overcome the unbearable economic meltdown of my country so as to increase my family standard of living in a time like this.

What are some fun activities or games that you think would bring your family closer during Easter?

In my locality, the season is rapped with weddings ceremonies, anniversaries, thanksgivings etc. But for my community the must special way we celebrate this season is by taking a mass processional walk on the road singing and dancing. People do come out in thousands from within, and neighboring communities as well as from towns and cities.

At the same time we do celebrate our Community Cultural Festival Day on every Easter Sunday where all the sons and daughters of our land are all invited from far and near back home. All the above are activities that do bring our families closer during Easter.

Share your favourite Easter memory from your community. What made it so special and memorable?

Last Year Easter was my favorite Easter memory so far in my community. It was beautiful, our Community Festival Day was well organized and well sponsored as well as the mass processional walk. Some sons and daughters of the soil that won in the past election return with massive support as a sign of gratitude. Thousands of people in great number were in attendance in both.
