The Diary Game for 30/12/2024|| Last Monday of the year.

Hello, Steemians from all over the world. Greetings to you all. I trust you all feel blessed and super fantastic. We are still in the season of celebration. So compliments of the season to you all. I'll be sharing with you all how I spent my day. Please read on.

MORNING
This morning I woke up at 7 am. But I wasn't in a hurry to leave my bed though. I spent time praying and studying my bible. When I was done, I stood up to start my day. I washed my face, brushed my teeth and washed the dirty plates available.
I needed to cook something to eat as there was no food at all. So I settled on cooking rice.
Before I remembered today was gonna be Bible Study, I decided to seek out a dress to wear in the evening for church. But when I brought out the dress, I noticed there was a stain on it. I went on to wash it and thankfully it's the harmattan season, so it will dry quickly.
Having done so, I tried repairing the outermost door to my room, the nails had gone out, so I tried replacing the nails. I was able to fix it and it was okay. I picked up a broom and swept the surrounding because it was dirty.

I was now ready to make my food. I started with parboiling my rice.

I also washed it very well to remove the stones available.
I didn't have all my ingredients complete. Therefore, I went to my neighbor to buy what I needed. After the purchase, a good Samaritan volunteered to pay for what I purchased. It amounted to 1,100 naira which is about 4 steems.

Things I bought
I was very happy as that would help me get other things with the money.
I took my stuff and returned to the house to begin my cooking.
Since the rice was already boiled, I completed the washing and placed it on the cooker. The rice cooked until it got soft.
I brought down the pot of rice and started making my egg sauce/ stew.
Soon I was done with the stew and food was ready!

Come and eat!
I dished it out into a plate, took my bath and sat down to eat.
Of course I ate to my satisfaction.

AFTERNOON
It was actually afternoon already when I took my morning food. After eating, I went on to iron the cloth I had washed earlier since it's dried already.
When I was done, I received a call from one of my fellows who was coming to my house to pick him up.
I dressed up and walked down to the junction to pick him.
We returned together to the House, he needed to charge his power bank as there was no stable light in the school hostel.
I helped him charge the power bank. He decided to stay for a while, and I offered him food to eat.
After which, I picked up my book to read.

EVENING

I told you earlier about having to attend church in the evening. So it was time already. At past 4 pm, I stood up and hurriedly got dressed. I needed to be in church by 5 pm.. although I couldn't meet up. The distance from house to school where the fellowship will be held was far. I got there at 5 pm. I was still the only one there as the majority had travelled. We were just 3 choristers at the end.We practiced our song together and when it was time for the program we presented the song.
I had a great time in the presence of God studying the Bible. It was reviving.
We closed and I went home in the company of two people.

It was late though, and the streets were mostly quiet and you could barely see people around. I was praying that my compound would not lock the gate, I didn't want to get there and start knocking.
Thankfully, I got there and it wasn't locked.
I was happy.
