Hello everyone my name is Oshoke and in this post, I will be taking you through the conditions in my country and why i would make a better candidate for the presidency

Users are expected to analyze the current state of the country.

It’s no longer a very strange thing to wake up to the sound of unrest and news to people being kidnapped i our neighborhood anymore, we just go on and live our life’s hoping it would not be our turn any time soon.
The country as we know it is in the worst condition since our independence from the British colonial masters, dollar is currently rated at 610Naira per dollar while fuel that we have excess of is currently being sold at fuel stations at 210/liter, massive unemployment is a norm to the community now and gunmen invading rural and urban communities is now the new order of the day
The country is in massive debt and is still borrowing, leaders are forgetting their roles and parties are being thrown while ignoring the catastrophic events that are occurring on a daily basis all around the country. My country Nigeria is in total disarray, nothing seems to function as normal, the entire country’s students have been on a strike for 107days now and the president its number one citizen came live on national television and declared he had no idea the students have been in a strike.
I don’t think this forum would be enough to describe how disoriented the deteriorating condition of my beloved country currently is.

Why do you think you will be suitable for the position of a president

Currently, the most outstanding reason why I know I will be more suitable for the presidential position is because I have been on the receiving end for a very long time I know what it feels like to wake up worried if you will make it back from work today or if you will even successfully get to work in the first place, I believe our political leaders have forgotting what these feelings feel like.
Most of the changes we need in our community are changes we need to be executed from inside not from without, A more suitable candidate is one who can put balance to every situation he is given, and who better than someone who has been directly affected
Secondly, I would be a better President because I would pay attention two things first Insecurity and Employment, our leaders seem to forget that it is one thing that leads to another if most people are employed a lot of these mishaps will be avoided and if there are security public properties will be saved hence they will be more than enough to go around for citizens well-fare
A third and very important reason why I believe I would make i better president is because I have what we call discipline, you see our leaders for lack of discipline don’t know how to say no when corrupt offers are waved at their faces, a leader who has discipline will put an end to the massive corruption that we are currently facing in our dear country, corruption without saying is one of the most prominent problems we are facing in this country if a good leader sets an example against corruption I believe the rest in executive offices will do the same and abstain from those sorts of activities

Identify the most pressing problems that your citizens are facing and try to proffer solutions to them

• INSECURITY

The most challenging problem we have currently is insecurity in the country, its all over the news that a few months back the train was intercepted by bandits and abductions were made, citizens were kidnapped in what seemed to be the most safest way to travel around the country, kidnapping is a norm in the society, not to mention the recent tragedy that took place in owo where citizens where killed during worship in church.
If i was made the president i would very much improve military presence on roads and constant checkup would be mandatory, I would also support state police, each state would form its own security force and tackle them as they see fit, Ministry of defence would be working around the clock to ensure the rate of insecurity drops by a lot

• CORRUPTION

My beloved country Nigeria is blessed with a lot of natural resources even more than its surrounding countries but sadly we suffer the most from this abundance, it was reported that at least 80% of the tapped natural gas in the country are stolen by a set of individuals to fill there pockets, they is a huge problem of corruption in the governing bodies .
As a president i would commission a new sector special for keeping a close eye on how the countries budget is being used and another special sector just for people in political offices, this new sector would solely be monitoring inflow and outflow of money from and to the offices. Corruption is done from the big offices and it heavily impacts the masses , would make sure i set very explicit examples with scapegoats so as to show the others practicing the same habit that they are not safe

• UNEMPLOYMENT

The rate of unemployment in the country is very alarming, many graduates are sitting home jobless with very bright ideas but no capital to bring there ideas to life, a lot of factories wanting to sprout but government policies are hindering them. As a president i would set a body up in charge of listening to individuals with good business idea and setting them up with finance and guide to help them achieve there dreams

• POOR ELECTRICITY

As we all know the world is going digital and a lot of opportunities are online now that youths and adult can earn money but at least 70% of the time there is no power supply to these individuals, We currently have one of the biggest power source in Africa yet seem to suffer the most for lack of power, As a president i would get to the bottom of why our power supply is so low and see to it that it improves but either bringing in alternatives like solar or new incentives.

Do you have any innovations you are bringing in?

Yes but i don't think it would be wise to bring in new incentives in a place with no good fundamentals, As a president i would first of all see to it that the root problems are handled like the problem i listed above before i think of bring in any new innovations. After all has been fixed i would then bring in things like

• Workshops (to teach people how to earn with basic skill)
• Set up a funding scheme for people who are jobless
• Collaberate with foreign countries for factories to reduce unemployment
• Fix a lot of sectors to closely monitor corrupt activities in the government
