Hello friends, it's joyous to be among you all to share my views and ideas on different topics from the steemit blog and friends. Here again, Is a heart-touching topic by @simonnwigwe to share on the topic "It is better to be late than to be the late" which is the sincere truth to humanity. I have a lot to say on the above topic, be relaxed with an understanding mind as I share my opinion on this educative topic.

I understand very well that life itself does not give all an individual needs in life but patience is the root of every step in life. Some people fall victims to one thing or the other because of impatience, some homes are broken because of impatience and then, there is one thing I learn about a chameleon. This animal is a simple example of patience by its working steps, a chameleon would continue to work gently until It reaches its destination so, same to life. We must learn to be patience so that the world won't swallow us to the point of death.

You can learn from my story.

While in school, I had two friends namely; Jane, Jesicca, and Enthrone. At age 18 while in my secondary school I followed my group everywhere they go especially to parties and clubs. At that early age, I was so stubborn and felt untouchable. As a group of friends, Jesicca brought a suggestion of after secondary school we should go to Lagos for a hustle and I concord with her suggestions and we all agreed to this without informing our parents.

After WAEC (West Africa Examination Council) we planned to run on the third night after our exams to meet in a car park to Lagos as agreed but that night I wasn't myself at all, I was so cold that I could not pick my phone that night not knowing its God's plan for my safety. My friends kept calling but I could not pick up due to my health state that night and I slept off. Waking up in the morning I was so disturbed that I could not go with my friends and I kept crying the whole day.

After some months they called me they rented a place but I refused to follow them and they are there enjoying themselves so, I felt it so much because I always see them on social media wearing expensive hair, clothes and shoes. Most times I feel like joining them there but I do not have any means of money and when I begged one of my friends among them called Enthrone, she borrowed me some money to follow them to Lagos.

On my preparations to go next week without my mother's knowledge, one of them called me that Jane and Enthrone went clubbing but has not returned and after some months she called again saying;

Alhaji used them, poisoned them, cut their private parts, plash money on their dead bodies, and left the hotel. The whole of the day was mourning upon mourning, their parents cried their whole life but they are gone forever.

In conclusion, from that day I became humble, calm, and responsible. My parents became surprised by my sudden changes but within me, I know the lessons I have learned from my friend's wastage because of impatience. If I had followed them it would have been "too late" in my head. Thank you all friends for reading through to this point and I hope you've learned a lot.
