in hive-147599 •  10 months ago

Greetings everyone, I am here to report an event that happened around my neighborhood. Much appreciation goes to the organiser @xkool24 and the community for making this very post available for steemians to participate.

Here around our neighborhood, events occur everytime which are sometimes positive or negative. The shocking thing is that not all the events that happened around our neighborhood gets to our hearing, some are not even disclose and some are just gossips and rumors which are not true.

I'll be reporting an event that's widely known to be a threat in the society and the people. Before the festive season last year people had serious issues withdrawing thier own hard earned money from the bank, laws covering cash withdrawal was enacted being you can't withdraw more than 10,000 naira a day being 40steems.

This happening was the best one for the government so far trying to control the amount of money in circulation also causing increase in the price level of goods and services. I will emphasize on the effect caused by the money in circulation policy.

People who hoard money uses such period to make sales for themselves by selling cash, causing inflation in the state. In a scenario where post of sales (POS) business men withdraw only #10,000 from the bank tell me why they won't add lots of charges to we the consumers. This policy made customers buy thier own hard earned money.

On a serious note, the ATM hardly dispense cash in most banks nowadays making it hard for business men to get money for business purposes. They find it to be so tiring after getting a specific amount from the bank and the customers will bear much of it because the business persons will want to cover up thier stress, time and many more.

It was widely known that the old currency wasn't really in use as at last year but the bank being a financial institution for us dispense this same old currency threatened to be stopped by the Government.

The event I shared is a current happening in my neighborhood, thank you very much for following me till the end❣️

What a beautiful Watchman you've been. Truly the cash system in Nigeria here is hectic. One cannot access his own money in which he entrusted to the bank.....we hope it gets better.

Praying hard too.. everything gets better ❤️🥰
Thank you very much for your comment

Together we move forward ❤️

Hello dear friend, I liked your post very much because you have focused everyone's attention on an important topic. ATM is made for the convenience of the people but sometimes due to the machine breaking down, people have to face a lot of problems and the business class tries to increase their profits in every situation. Good luck with the contest.

Thank you very much for the comment to my post🥰❤️..
Yeah the ATM gives us hard time most times..but I do transfer most times via my mobile application and I think that's the best way for purchasing items and settling debt.
