contest: Showing Hospitality

How are you all doing, I hope that you are enjoying the best of your life. Today I will be participating in a contest organized by@steem4nigeria in this wonderful community and I hope that my entry will make an impact to others.

So without wasting much time let get to know what I have to say about this particular topic here.

What do you understand by the word hospitality?

Hospitality means the act of being friendly, welcoming, and generous to visitors or strangers. This has to do with providing a warm and comfortable environment, and also ensuring that their needs and comfort are met within you and them.

In the world where sometimes the "helper" becomes a "victim," should we still show hospitality? What's your take? Explain.

In the world way we are staying today a lot of things happend that makes so many people refused to help others, it may be because of what they say about them or their reactions. But all I could say Is that no matter how good you are people will still said bad thing about you and also let it not be because of what the first person say that will make you to stay back from helping the second person because out of 100 people you have help it only 30% will say good thing about you and that is okay for you to take.

Have you ever received unforgettable hospitality from someone? How was it? And why is it unforgettable?

Yes, it a great memory in my life that I will never forget that day in my life. It all happened like this, on one faithful day while I was still doing my security job after my secondary school which I wanted to have a life experience what life is all about. So that day I just leave the house without eating anything and I didn't have any money with me to use and buy any food or anything to eat at work place and I was very hungry throughout they day.

On that evening while I was staying outside sadly one of the guy that stays in that apartment come to me and ask while am I say I just told me the truth what I was passing through and he told me that I could have come to him earlier or even come to his room and ask for some help but I told that I don't beg for things. So he told me to sent my account number for him to so that he can sent a little he had for me and I was so happy when I hear that with my expectations of 1 or 2k but to my surprise that guy sent 10k for me that evening and I was totally shock when i see the alert and I have to call him and confirm incase he makes a mistake but he told me that he knows that I should use to 10k to buy something to eat that night and in the morning while I was about leaving since the work is 24 hours he still sent 5k for me to use in the morning and I didn't know how to think him through my period on that apartment.

So I make I promise within myself that no matter what is happening in this life that I will forever be great full to God almighty for sending someone to help me out and also to him for helping me in time of my need.

Do you consider yourself a hospitable person ? State instances.

Yeah, abd I can say that again with my full chest am a hospitable person. That are a lot of people I have help both in financially and other aspects in life.
For instance just the past last December that has just past a friend of mine come to me and complain of the challenge he was facing and was seeking of help from me, the was all about staying in my apartment for the rest of the month due to what was happening in their area, so I had to let him be in my apartment till everything was settled and he left the ending of January which every bills was on me but I didn't mind that because I was once in that position and somebody help me too.

When showing hospitality to people, how should it be done? Tell us.

When you are in the state of showing someone love, care, and being generous to someone try to to do it with all your heart because when this is done the almighty God bless you you.

Secondly always try to follow your heart with showing hospitality to a stranger so that you don't fall intobtge hend of the wrong people because sometimes you want to show care to someone but the inside of you is telling not to do, that means they is something that is coming in future which may bharm you at last. So it is always good to follow your mind when taking a decision even when it is not about helping someone but in your daily life, so it is very important to follow your heart.
