MY FAVOURITE SPORTS GAME

Greetings everyone and welcome to my post. I was scrolling through the steem49ja community and i saw it's wonderful contest that demands we talk about our favourite sports.

My favourite sport is no other than football, also called soccer. Soccer was invented or should I say introduced by England in the 12th century. Due to the rough play of players and some other factors, it was shut down to avoid getting players frequently injured and was later revived. During that time, Brazil has the reigning team, and they have this unique way of playing football. After some scientific advancements, football(soccer) has advanced to its peak, having billions of fans and views. Currently, my favourite team is the Real Madrid, who have made way with tons of champions league cups and lots more when it comes to trophies.

The reason i love football is because it serves as a mode of general body exercise, and can greatly influence an individual's performance. I know running can do that too but football increases a person's speed, agility, movements and lots more. When playing football, you have to always pay a very good attention to your environment, your senses needs to always be sharp and calculative of how to either curve the ball or play the ball in other to attain a beautiful goal. Since i was a kid, just like the famous Brazilian player of the good old days, Pele, I always have joy when ever i play, and i play whole heartedly without paying no mind of injury or the like. 8 years ago (2014), the local team i play for named "Santiago" had a match with another team and we were going to Ahmadu Bello Stadium located in Kaduna to play the game, i had a road accident when i was about crossing the road to board the bus that'll take us there. The accident resulted to my broken tooth (sadly) and the news i got from my coach was that out team lost the match due to the shock of my accident. The march score was 12-1😹😹😹 im actually finding the memory funny currently but back then, it wasn't. I was told by my coach that another player fell in the pitch while player and had to be replaced. So due to the shocks of both me and the other player, we lost the game. However, after that day, i tried playing again when i regained myself, but u couldn't because i always have fear of the unknown. I tried motivating myself but it didn't work, so i left it.
