Tell Us why you choose your Steemit name

My steemit username is @delightharris and i of all people believe that a person's name influence their personality because what comes out of the mouth is what justifies a being.

A break down of my name;

As said earlier, my name is delightharris

Delight meaning "Joy"

Harris meaning son of Harry

And Harry means a powerful home ruler, a warrior who protects their home.

Now, puting it together, my name basically means the joyful son of a powerful home ruler and a warrior.

When i recall the meaning of my name, it serves as a motivation to me when ever im facing any troubles, or any thing that is trying to bring me down. I do tell myself that a warrior can never go down without a fight or a struggle, so i too will not go down without a fight in the face of any troubles. This nake actually keeps me strong, brave and courageous in many situations.

Is there someone you've dedicated the name to?

I've actually not thought of that, but now that i have, i will like to dedicate it to my girlfriend because we have passed through a lot together.

We've been through ups and downs, ranging from finance to domestic querrels 😹. Even when the world is turning against her because of me, she still continued dating me and vice versa. Most times, she tells me bout it and we just laugh together because i believe that "people must talk in any given situation" so i don't have to be bothered.

Are you satisfied with your name?

I'm very much satisfied with the name. It serves as a way for me to be motivated in any given situation.

If you're given a chance will you change your name?

NO, I'm not willing to change this name even when offered millions of dollars. I love and cherish my name Soo much. But if it is compulsory to have a name change, I'll have to change it to El_nwothini.
Breaking down El_nwothini;

El means god

Nwo is the short form of family's generational name "Nwoko" meaning Man

However, this name basically means the "god-like man"

But anyways, I'm not willing to apply a name change and I'm willing to maintain the one i have.
