Betterlife on a Weekend: A Sunday to Remember

Sunday is one of the days when most people go to churches, mosques, religious centers and the likes to worship and praise God, Allah etc. I woke up early today, did my morning prayers and prepared myself to go to the kingdom hall where i worship.
I was a little bit late, I missed the opening song and prayer. I was right in when the first speaker was giving his talk. The topic was Obedience to God's commandments.

I listened attentively as the speaker explained the importance of obedience to God's righteous principles and standards. Obedience is better than sacrifice, being obedient can save our lives. It was a very interesting talk. He used biblical examples and experiences of people in the past who obeyed God and those who didn't obey God and the consequences of their disobedience.

The talk lasted for 30 minutes after which it was time for the watchtower journal to be discussed. The watchtower is a journal and book which is being discussed after every public discourse. A quality was being examined and discussed which is Faith. Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of things not seen. I learnt the importance of faith, why strong faith is needed and what we can do to grow our faith.

Beautiful and uplifting comments were said in the course of the study. This part lasted for an hour. Song and prayer were used to close the meeting. After the meeting,warm greetings we're exchanged with joyful smiles on our faces as we left for our various destination.I took some pictures later on my way back.The sun was scorching that immediately I got back to my room, I laid under the fan and rested for an hour.

When I woke up,I decided to prepare myself a quick meal because i was already hungry. I prepared spaghetti because it is a simple meal and it doesn't waste time. In less than 15 minutes,the spaghetti was done. I sat down to enjoy my meal.

After my meal, I did a Tiktok video with my roommate.it was fun because we laughed so many times before we could do the video. I went to class later in the evening to read for my test tomorrow. It was a whole lot of topics and paragraphs. I felt bored reading so I took a little work outside the school to get some stuff in the supermarket. I had an online class via video call in the evening with some senior colleagues in nursing.

The class was very educative as they took their time to explain areas we were having difficulty in the courses. The class lasted for about 2 After the class, I did a brief revision for my test tomorrow and prepared for school the next day.

My Sunday ended well I must admit. Despite the fact that I had to go through a lot that Sunday, I tried as much as possible to balance up everything in my life. There's one thing to have a perfect day and another thing to have a perfect day that is worthwhile and doesn't end with regrets.

Most people today are occupied with lots of activities that seem to make them stressed during the day. Some tend to carryout their daily activities anyhow without planning. I took my time to plan my day so I'll not end up regretting time wasted.

So in conclusion, I want to leave a valuable note to all those who are occupied with work and other activities. Having a balance view of time while during these activities can help a lot on the long run. I balanced my physical life, school and physical work. Thanks
