INTRODUCTION

Hello friends, i hope you're all doing fine and enjoying your day. I'm happy to be part of this interesting contest in @steem4nigeria community, which was organized by our handworking friend in person of @manuelhooks, and the theme is Does money makes a happy couple.
In this post i will be discussing on the above topic by answering and following the contest guidelines.

IS MONEY CENTRAL TO FAMILY HAPPINESS?

Money is very important and i think it's the central to family Happiness cause it contribute to the sense of security and also provide opportunities for a good quality of life, though we have other thing which contribute to family Happiness which are support, love, communication etc, but without money all those things doesn't go anywhere.

With money, families are able to meet their basic needs, healthcare, access education and recreational activities, which enhance overall well being and satisfaction.

WHAT ARE SOME COMMON MONEY RELATED ISSUES AMONG COUPLES IN YOUR AREA?

Issues related to money can be a significant source of conflict in a family, especially among the couple.
Some money related issues in the family include:

1. DIFFERENCE IN FINANCIAL GOALS: In a family couple may have different financial goals, such as saving for car, to build a house, education etc, and this normally happen when both husband and wife are rich, and because of this they may end up having issues in their marriage if there is no understanding.

2. UNEQUAL FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION: This is when one partner earns more money than the other or when one partner is depending financially on the other partner, and this can lead to resentment and power imbalance.

HOW WILL YOU DEAL WITH A SITUATION WHERE A SPOUSE FEELS THAT "YOUR MONEY IS OUR MONEY BUT MY MONEY"?

If i have this kind of problem in my marriage, the first thing to do is to sit my wife down and advice Her by letting her know what a family is really is, and if after telling her and trying to convince her to change that mentallity of your money is our money but my money is my money and she doesn't, i will involve a third party which would be a marriage counselors.

IN YOUR OPINION, IS A WIFE OBLIGATED TO SUBMIT HER SALARY TO HER HUSBAND AT THE END OF EACH MONTH?

In my own opinion the wife is not obligated to submit her salary to her husband every end of the month, except if the wife choose to or if the share the same bank account.
The wife is also a human being like her husband and she has full right over her salary afterall it wasn't part of the marital vows that the wife should ve submitting her salary to her husband every end of each month.

WHY IS MONEY SUCH A BIG ISSUE IN MARRIAGE LATELY?

Money has always been a significant factor in marriages, and it's importance may vary depending on various factors such as socioeconomic, cultural and personal circumstances.

And the reason why money is a big issues in marriages lately is because it's the main thing used in maintaining a marriage, and without it the marriage will not be going smoothly.
