You're welcome to a contest in @steem4nigeria community title Opportunity Comes But Once, i know we have all heard this statement before and today i will be discussing about it below by answering some few questions given by @lhorgic

WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF THE WORD OPPORTUNITY?

OPPORTUNITY : it can be define as a situation, circumstances or favorable time we found ourselves in which it is a possible chance to do what we always wanted to do.

It can also be define as a chance to do something or amount of time given to someone to execute a particular project.

WHAT IS YOUR THOUGHT AND PERSPECTIVE ABOUT THIS STATEMENT, DO YOU AGREE WITH THIS STATEMENT?

Honestly, j don't agree with this statement "opportunity comes but once", because in life even if you miss an opportunity to do something, it doesn't mean that you wont have opportunity again, another opportunity will come but is not going to be the same as before, it will come in a different way.
Though it might take some time before such opportunity comes again.

DO YOU THINK THIS STATEMENT IS MISLEADING

I think the statement "opportunity comes but once" is misleading.
The reason i say so is that in a place where you're with your friends and you wanted to do something but your heart is telling you not to do it, your friends will tell you "Guy do it, opportunity comes but once " and you will go ahead in doing it and at the end you realize you shouldn't have done it.

That's the reason i said that the statement is misleading, cause when someone sees a good opportunity in doing something, he or she will do it without having any second thought.

DO YOU HAVE ANY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE OR FROM SOMEONE YOU KNOW TO BACK UP YOUR TAKE ABOUT THE STATEMENT?

Yes, i have experience it before, but i want to share the one of someone i know to back up this statement.

There was a guy in my street that loves playing bet9ja a lot, so one day we were just walking on the street a dangerous looking madman walk up to us and told the guy that he should play Man city to win chelsea and also gave him three numbers to play on Lotto.

Honestly, i was scared and also surprised cause that was the first time I've experienced such a thing before i started hearing about it .

I told the guy that he should play the game the mad man to him, he laughed and said "so na so you hate me reach, you want make i throw my money away just like that".

For me i have not played bet9ja or any street bet before, ijust went and play those games with only 200 naira cause i didn't have the mind stakers have, to my greatest surprised the whole game played and i win 7000 naira just like that.

That was how the guy miss the opportunity, but that doesn't mean that he wont get another opportunity again in life, though it might be about something else.

IF YOU WERE TO REPHRASE THIS STATEMENT, WHAT WOULD THE NEW STATEMENT BE?

It would have been GRAB IT THE MOMENT YOU SEE IT
