INTRODUCTION

Greetings my handsome and beautiful steemians friends, how are you all doing? I hope you're doing good and enjoying your day.

You're welcome to my post once again, and it is my pleasure to participate in @steem4nigeria contest that was organized by our own hardworking friend in person of @josepha, and the theme of the contest is The Joy of Celebrating Labour Day.

WHY DO WORKERS CELEBRATE THEIR DAY?

I think they Celebrate their day in other to recognize and to honor the achievement and contribution of workers in their respective states or countries.

The International worker's day which is also known as May Day was officially recognize by the International socialist congress in paris in the year 1889 to Commemorate the Haymarket affairs, and ever since the International worker's day(May Day) has been Celebrated on 1^st May of every year as a day to celebrate and honor all the workers.

TO YOUR OWN UNDERSTAND, WHAT IS THE MEANING OF WORKER'S DAY?

According to my own understanding, worker's day also known as May day or International worker's day is a day where all workers will celebrate their social and the economic achievement of their work.

And on May 1^st which is International worker's day will be declared public holiday (work free day) and no worker will go to work, and it's always a day to recognize and to honor the achievement and contributions of workers world wide as earlier said above.

DO YOU THINK WE STEEMIANS SHOULD HAVE A SPECIAL DAY ASIDE TO CELEBRATE?

That isn't a bad idea at all, but i think we should always join in celebrating May day(International worker's day) instead of selecting a special day for us steemians to be celebrating, because we are also workers too.

WHAT SHOULD WE DO ON WORKER'S DAY?

I think on every worker's day, all the steemians in every states, country should always get together to have fun, discuss and ask questions on things you wanted to understand, and most importantly to get to meet and know each other.
