The journey

Well, nine month journey was a happy one, although it wasn't easy but the experience as a first time mum was indeed amazing. Some days you wake up with mood swings another day you wake up really happy, or hungry or lazy or tired. Well, the most happiest time is when you feel you baby move or kick it's makes me smile. The wondering part is when I imagine that a living creature is inside me growing feeding from me it makes me feel the privilege of being a mother and I do everything possible to make sure my little cutie was doing fine inside me. At times we were sick, hospitalised get well and still continue with the stress of life. Eating healthy meals make us stay healthy at all times, exercise too is very very vital in Pregnancy, it helps both the baby and the mother, I enjoyed doing all this while in this journey.

What helped me through the journey

As I already said, exercise was really of help to me, my regular antenatal visit and my weekly Pregnancy series helped me too, I was able to know what I will experience in each week and set my mind for it. Healthy meals also help maintain a healthy pregnancy.

How I cope with my secular work

I like my work, I like serving humanity, besides I so much have passion for health care, so I didn't neglect my work because of pregnancy. It makes me look active, healthy and happy especially when my sick patients get well and being discharged from the hospital. Last month we had a medical mission and I was active in the hospital helping this one's that came out to receive treatment and go back in good condition. It wasn't easy though but I worked with style remember health is wealth so tried to be cautious of my health condition and that of my baby.

How I cope with steemit work

Steemit is never a place that hindered one to do anything, so I still make my regular post although not as much as I could in a day due to some circumstances at some time. But I work effectively on my curation days, update my weekly contests and weekly Pregnancy series as well as diarygame and the challenge contest when I have the time. Even in the morning before I put to birth, I have to squeeze out time to update my contest so as not to accumulate for me as I knew I will have a busy day ahead of me.

How did I cope with the labor pains?

Well, in my last series I wrote about natural way of induction, it really helps before now I've been on it and it's really help me to endure the pains when it comes. That's the reason I said exercise is supper good, from Tuesday I was in pains but it was my curation day so I did my walking and squatting while Curating, the Curation helped me because I read people's post and forgot about the pains I was going through. As day breaks, I did an ultrasound scan and find out that the baby was really big to deliver vaginally, I immediately demand for cesarean section and immediately the surgical team responded and in some hours time my beautiful baby was brought to the world on Thursday morning. Although I'm in pains now, with my heart full of joy I share my experience with you all.

Heartfelt message

The journey has not been easy with me, but we are happy that we made it together, I and my baby is fine. We thank our heavenly father the giver of life and every good gift for this loving gift he gave to us. So adorable, so beautiful my heat leap with joy today as I carry my first child in my hands and take her close to my heart, may Jah that gives this gift give me the grace to care for you the way I should as a mother, may he provides abundantly to us your parent so we care for you, may Jah gives us the wisdom needed as parent to begin this great privilege he has assigned us, and may we live forever grateful to Jah for this gift, may we cherish you Darauwem Eliana and always rejoice as you given us much reason to always rejoice.
