Introduction

It's another time to write about my neighborhood watch. First, looking at the weather recently, it always sunny. We are in the spring season, the time of planting. A lot of people go into planting. In my neighborhood, maize and cassava are planted everywhere. I was amazed when I witnessed the heavy rain that fell.

Waking up this morning, I realized the rain did a lot of damage on our road and on some farm crops.

This is Use Offot Community in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. I live in this neighborhood.

One of the reason I love this community is, the community has a market close by. As a student, when I am back from school, I branch the market, I get some food stuffs and then I head home.

Leaving Nwaniba, I was headed to the University Of Uyo, Town Campus. I first entered Annex to see the number of students writing the JAMB Examination.

They were so much. I later went to Town Campus. There I saw a lot of students playing football while some played basketball. It's the third week of resumption and not all the students have resumed fully.

Leaving the University Of Uyo, I decided to visit my aunty's place at Atiku Abubaker. I first walked down to Ikot Ekpene Road. The street was really busy with people going about their normal businesses.

I picked a bus and I was headed to the bridge at Itam. The bridge and everything around there looked so beautiful. Uyo indeed is a beautiful city. We passed the Itam Bridge before entering Atiku Abubaker Way.

Heading into Atiku Abubaker Way, I was so surprised to see the renovation. It's been a long since I visited there. The roads there were renovated and it was really looking beautiful.

The construction is still ongoing and I know the road will be completed in no time.

After a staying at my aunty's place for a while. I was headed to plaza. Ibom Plaza for me is the center of Uyo. Heading Plaza, a lot of banks are there.

People sell a lot there. Different businesses are done there. People go there to buy, and do a lot of things.

On my way back to Use Offot, I used Nwaniba road. The road is always busy as usual.

They are a lot of phone shops, markets and banks and business centers along the road. Nwaniba road kinks up with other roads like Oron road, Ring road 3, etc.

Back at home, children were out to play during the evening hours. Some played football while others watched.

Your days was a very adventurous one, moving from school to market, from market to visit your auntie, having a view of your beautiful surroundings, hope you wasn't that tired when you get home. Also I pity the farm crops that was damage by the heavy rainfall hope the will get back up at least for the farmers sake.

This is the season for rain and we should expect such downpours this period from time to time. Nice reading from you.

Thank you for your support

Indeed what a busy watch.

This is very much interesting, I enjoy every bit of it.

Talking of your resident, having a market close is almost like owning a market unlike mine where the market is far which I have to pay transport or trek heavily to purchase good stuff.

Acknowledging your presence in school, I'll ask, what advice did you have for the jambite in the situation as one who had the experience and has overcome it.

Good to read from you.

Thanks for reading my post. My advice to jambites to try their best in the exams and hope for a good result
