Greetings dear steemain friends. How are you all my friendz? Hope all of you are very well and healthy. Alhamdulillah, I am also very well by the grace of Almighty Allah. Steem4Nigeria community bring up with a loving topic in this engagement challenge which is, SEC S15W4: "Broken Trust" The contest is organized on a great topic. I am very willing to participate in the contest & share my thoughts on it. Hope everyone will enjoy my blog. So let's get started.

What do you think the word trust means?

In one sentence, the trust means building bridge between two people, where they both belief & rely on each other. Trust is not just a word, its scope is huge. We can express trust in many ways. Trust is involved everywhere in love, friendship, relationships, workplace, responsibility. Without trust, this relationship would not exist. We see many such instances because we have faith in each other. On the other hand, I see the relationship break down instantly due to lack of trust.

The stronger the bond between them, the stronger one another, and if one gives the responsibility to each other, he will be completely relaxed. And then we can call it faith. Because you have complete faith in him, you are not at all worried about the things that faith entails, by entrusting it to him. And if there was no faith then it would never have been done by others.

Presently in your country, do the citizens feel safe to trust one another? If not why? And if yes why?

We must first accept that none of us can understand someone's mind and intentions at first sight. But those in whom there is honesty and clarity of speech can be trusted and considered safe. And to ensure that one person finds out in a unique way.

However, Bangladesh is a place full of both trustworthy and untrustworthy people. And because of untrustworthy people, a man is afraid to trust another man. Because there have been many incidents in our country where people abuse the opportunity of faith and harm it. There are some people who even commit murders just for the sake of some wealth. They are hated when they take advantage of the faith of others and harm it.

Have you had any experience where your trust in someone was broken? Or such a scenario from a Friend?

Yes it is normal to have such incidents and it happened to me. When I lived in my house there was a boy next door to me who was younger than me. But I used to play cricket, football, badminton with that boy since childhood. I trusted him a lot because I looked at him like a younger brother and whenever there was a need for help or a problem I would help him.

But as he grew up and moved from primary to high school, I began to notice a gradual change in him. He used to present any true facts in his own fabricated form. And I truly believed him and realized he was lying when I shared the same story with others. He used to do the same thing regularly. And at one point I decided I wouldn't believe a word he said until I saw it with my own eyes. Since then I don't value his words and I have lost faith and trust in him.

Can you suggest ways to mend broken trust?

To tell the truth, I still cannot trust those whom I myself have lost trust in. It is a very difficult task to regain trust. Trust is an asset that we can hold on to as long as we have it. If we break the trust, we will surely suffer for it. I don't notice any change in them. But our greatest virtue as a human being is to forgive his mistakes. I try to forgive them mentally and pray for his guidance so that he can change. A man will not change until he realizes his mistake. But in present time it is very lacking due to which distance is constantly being created between people.

I can't tell you how much trust can be regained after it's lost, but I I would like to suggest that one should always walk on the path of truth, eliminate enmity, always try to give equal importance to relationships and fear Allah so as not to indulge in sin, then he will be a trustworthy person.
