What do you understand by being "informed" "uninformed" "partially informed", misinformed?

Being informed refers to being knowledgeable or prepared. Being knowledgeable entails receiving information before it is implemented in its entirety.

Simply put, being uninformed refers to not knowing anything, or based on knowledge or awareness, not having any knowledge of what is occurring.

The term "partially informed" refers to someone who has some knowledge, but who does not fully understand or grasp all the details of that knowledge.

Misinformed which is also known as being uninformed is the act of giving someone false information or news. It also refers to possessing incorrect or faulty information.

Which of the categories above was your experience?

I'm about to share with you all a category of information that I've encountered called "misinformed."

Share your story with us.

When I was still in secondary school in Nigeria's ebonyi State, one of my friends gave me false information about the National Examinations Council (NECO).

Then, in the year 2020, I registered for my NECO exam. Since the school was far from my home at the time, I met several of my friends there who lived nearby the first time I visited, and we exchanged contact information.

I went to the first exam day and was supposed to have physics on the second, but one of my friends with whom I had exchanged numbers called me and said that the head of the school had said that the physics subject had been postponed. Unfortunately, this was a false report, but I believed him because I trusted him and did not anticipate it to be one. As a result, I was supposed to have my physics paper by 8:00am but I was still at home by 9am. However, I give God

How did you handle it ,and what were the lesson learned ?

How I dealt with it was that I tried contacting someone else to confirm if that was factual, and he informed me that it was a massive lie that the physics exam had already begun and that I should come very quickly, so I immediately got dressed and went to write the exam I apologize to the supervisor for coming late.

Speaking about what I gained away from it, I learned not to place a lot of faith in people and to at least show some scepticism towards them.

Once more, I've learnt not to blindly accept what one person says and instead to check the information that is given to me with other people.
