My Neighborhood watch #69 - My little niece birthday celebration 21/9/2024

Greetings great steemians of this community, how are you all doing? Hope all is going well. I'm grateful to God for the gift of a new month, cos it's not a right but a privilege. Though It's a been a while, I still remain your favorite girl @enyddy. Thank you so much @xcool for always giving us this opportunity to express ourselves.

Birthday is a once in a year celebration of life and when one is capable enough to throw a party, why not? It is only bad when you go as far as borrowing to proof a point.
And for my pretty little niece, that was her 1st birthday, so the parents were ready. And we couldn't miss such a family gathering for anything.

Despite the fact that we had other engagement, we also planned to honour the invitation of our own. So since we had workers meetings that morning in church, we carried out party clothes well arranged in our bags. And when the service was over, we rested a little and when it was time for the birthday party of my children's little cousin, we changed up and set out for the occasion.
The kids were so happy to go on the journey, cos it was a while they saw their cousins and of course the PARTY, no carry party joke with children o🤣. We boarded a bus that carried us to the bus stop, where we pick a bike to the venue.

We finally arrived the venue to a warm welcome by the celebrant's parents. Everywhere was beautifully arrange and decorated to suit the occasion. I couldn't wait to carry the birthday celebrant as it's been a long time I visited them. We exchange pleasantries, my daughter handed a birthday gift to the celebrant and took some photos together. In a short while, the party started properly.

The MC begins with an opening prayer, and later introduce himself with a very funny name that took everyone some minutes to laugh, he later welcome the parents and the kids who were beautifully seated to the party. In no distant time, it was games time and all the kids so happy and eager to join the game. The celebrant and the parents was then ushered in. After a welcome speech by the celebrant's parents, a dance competition took up the stage.

There isn't a party without wining and dining , so as the party went on, enough was available to eat and drink, as one had a chance to choose from so many options. Hubby and I did just justice to it and enjoyed ourselves.
Everybody both parents and children ate as many times as possible.

The kids came really prepared as they were given enough time to display their talent in dancing. Parents were not left out too as they display their beautiful dance steps . It was like what we would call ' dance and forget your sorrow'🤣. It was such a refreshing and amazing time with our kids.

About an hour plus into the party, it was time for the cake celebration. And the celebrant was ushered in by the parents to cut her cake. To support in the cake cutting were the parents of the kids present.
And the dancing continue till the end of the party. Sovernier gifts were given to the children and they were so happy. And the party came to a beautiful ending.
