What does Easter mean to you personally? Share your thoughts and feelings about this special holiday.

Easter, for me, is a moment of deep and sober reflexion, a moment of consciousness, being mindful of our ways. Reflecting on how Jesus Christ, our Lord and saviour, came to die for us. How much I love and accepted his sacrifice.

How does your community celebrate Easter? Are there any unique traditions or events that you look forward to?

The Easter period is usually celebrated religiously in my community. All Christian denominations gather in church for one program or the other. For my church, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), it's usually for crusade, evangelism and planting of new churches, which is usually known as "Let's go -a- Fish."

In this program, people go out to preach the gospel of Jesus to others, reminding them of the reason for the Easter celebration, which is the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. This is usually accompanied by giving out gifts and winning souls to Christ.

Easter is often associated with new beginnings. What new goals or aspirations do you have for yourself or your family this Easter season?

The only goal I have is to be focused on the gospel of our Lord Jesus, remembering His sacrifice for me and to also remain righteous before God, not forgetting my calling and ministry.

What are some fun activities or games that you think would bring your family closer during Easter?

During the Easter period we're usually very busy due to the church program I mentioned above. But I think having time out like having dinner in an eatery or going for an excursion will foster unity and bring us closer as a family.

Share your favourite Easter memory from your community. What made it so special and memorable?

One memorable thing during the Easter period in my community is the church activities. The carnival-like attendance in worship centres. It's fun because as you're going or dismissed from church, you'll find other denominations also going or closing. It gives me joy that Jesus is loved and celebrated for his humane sacrifice for humankind.

During this time, you find family members travelling to be with their family during Easter holidays. These maybe people who couldn't travel to visit their family during Christmas and new year.

Easter is one of the times when family bonds are strengthened due to the fact that this period enables family members to be with their families during the holiday.
