2023 goal setting

Happy new year my fellow Nigerians. I'm very glad to be here again, My first post was denied, so technically, this is my first post and contest participation here, and I'm very happy. I'm sure lots of chicken died yesterday, lol.

MY UNDERSTANDING ON GOALS AND GOAL SETTING
As the new year begins, it is really a great time to set goals and I'm sure most of us by now would have set goals to be achieved this year, 2023.
Goals are aspirations or objectives that you want to achieve in a certain period of time. Goals give you something to work towards and can help motivate you to take action and make positive changes in your life. They can also help you stay focused and track your progress.
The year 2022, my only goal then was, I'm going to make alot of money. The desire to have money and fear of not having money made me worked my ass out, at first, the money was coming then all of a sudden everything crashed. I would say, 2022 was the worst year of my life.
One thing I learnt about setting of goals is that, it should be towards your personal development, career development, health or even an accomplishment.
It's important to set goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. This is often referred to as the SMART criteria for goal setting.

To me, I believe no goal is too big or impossible to achieve. I categorize people who say, "certain goals are just impossible to achieve" as small minds. But I would say, your goals should be realistic

MY GOALS FOR 2023
By God's grace this year's gonna be different. Ending of last year really got me thinking, I evaluated myself, figured out what I was lacking, the informations I needed. So on the 1st of January 2023, I made my goals, which are;

1. Learning atleast two programming languages.
2. Creating atleast 5 sources of income, which definitely steemit is one of them.
   And the biggest of them all is
3. creating an online marketplace that connects sellers and buyers together for the sales of digital products.

Let me also use to medium to let everyone know that the door of partnership is open, people with like minds that can help achieve my goal number 3.

Achieving these goals will immerse self-development, dedication and most of all discipline.

My fellow steemites, no matter what your goals are, the most important thing is to be specific, achievable, and committed to making progress.
