Visiting a Friend and Spending a Fun-Filled Week

Hello to every Steemian and member of this community. Hope y'all had an amazing day? Today I'll like to tell you about the amazing time I had visiting a friend.

Victor and I go a long way back. We've been friend from a long time. And I decided to pay him a visit. He stays in Zaria, so I had to make a journey down to Zaria from Kogi state. I got to the park on the morning I was to make my journey and boarded a vehicle heading to Abuja. The journey was tiring and when I arrived Abuja, I was happy I had gone half the journey or so I thought 🤣.

I soon discovered I still had a long way to go and I won't lie I was tired. I boarded another vehicle heading to Zaria and sat tight for the journey. It was long and I started to keep track of how many kilometres we had gone. Funny right? And I was not really comfortable where I was sitted in the car but I had to manage; I couldn't feel my legs. The stress of travelling by car and on road wasn't meant for me I think 🤣, but till that change comes we've got to do it 🤣.

As soon as I arrived Zaria, I called Vamii( that's Victor's nickname) on phone and he told me to take a cab to where he would pick me up from. I got there and he picked me from there to his place. He's a student of ABU Zaria and his place is really close to the school. He ordered us pizza; I was already famished, I didn't eat anything through out the journey.

The next day, Vamii and I hit the basketball court; we went to his school's basketball court for a game with the school team . We both love to play basketball, and it’s a great way for us to bond and catch up on each other’s lives. The game was intense, but in the end, my friend and I enjoyed the game as we were both in the same team.

After playing basketball, we stayed in school a bit and then we went to go get dinner as it was already getting late. Victor has a fantastic gaming setup, he's a gamer and YouTuber that streams his games and makes amazing and helpful videos for gamers. He spent the next few hours battling it out in some of his favorite games. He plays games like Apex Legends, Call of Duty, and NBA 2K, just to name a few. I watched him play as I don't do much of combat games, when he was done it was my turn. I payed the NBA 2K.

The next day, after breakfast, he played some games and I did too. We also went to court but I won't lie; the game we played wasn't as fun as the first and we didn't enjoy it as we did the first.

Overall, it was a fantastic week spent with a great friend. We laughed, competed, and had a lot of fun together. I’m really looking forward to our next visit, where I’m sure we will have just as much fun as we did this past week.
