The emergence of social media has been the beginning of togetherness. Social media has gone a long way in bringing people from different race, countries and tribes together as one. Steemit is nothing different from other social media platforms.
How Does Steemit Connect People From Different Places?
Steemit is a platform that renders accessible method of communication, and engagement connecting hundreds upon thousands of people ranging from your neighbors to someone living across the world. Steemit connects us through engagement as other social media platforms. We can post, comment, upvote and share our thoughts on steemit just like every other platform.
What Makes You Feel Part Of The Steemit Community?
Yes! I contribute to the growth of steemit by involving myself in what happens in communities. I post interesting contents for other people. I incorporate valid pictures and images to my post. I curate other people's content that catches my attention. I also air out my opinion in contest and competitions.
Why Is Supporting Each Other Important On Steemit?
Without the support of each other then definitely there won't be growth. Social media platforms are not place you do things without involving others. For us to thrive and grow together we need to support each other. Steemit needs constant engagements from friends, mentors and wannabes friends.
So support is a necessity in steemit.
How Can We Help New Users Feel Welcome?
I'm a new user here. There's need to help, support and guide new users like me.
We should be guided on how to make quality post. New Users should be upvoted on a a regular.
New user should guided by other professionals on how to engagement in different communities.
New users should be carried along and supported in every aspect concerning the platform since they might not know everything.
Conclusion
Steemit has been a very good platform. I just came into steemit new but I tend to enjoy the coming together of people from different countries without barrage and language barrier. I'm enjoying the togetherness. I love the growth here. I'm happy for the invention of such platform that rewards you for engaging with others.
