Dear Nigerian Users,

Are you ready, this will be the first in history for all of us to meet together after I announced the general meet-up for my state users which was scheduled for Saturday 14th September 2024 at 2:00 pm, many other users from other states indicated interest in joining, and they asked if it's possible to extend the date so that they can prepare well, oh guess what? After considering the request I and @ngoenyi have decided to hold the meet-up for the entire Nigerian Users! Not only these, but 2 Nigerian-based communities @Steem4nigeria and @Steemkids/parents are willing to support this wonderful move. So what Are waiting for, get your party's shoes ready, because it will be lit! We can't wait to get to know ourselves one-on-one, and there's going to be an exchange of encouragement! The meetup is scheduled for Saturday, November 30th, 2024 in the organizer's state Akwa Ibom State.

DATE: Saturday 30th November 2024
TIME: 2 PM prompt.
VENUE: Oba's playground by Ibiaku U-turn Airport road, opposite Pan African Comprehensive Secondary School, Uyo Akwa Ibom State.

AGENDA:

The agenda for the meetup includes many exciting activities and topics related to Steem, and the Steemit community:

1) We will begin by discussing the recent updates on the platform and how they could affect our use of the platform. We will explore ways we can improve our Steemit profiles, how to grow our reputation, and How to grow and gain visibility on the platform. Guide on how to create quality and attractive posts, free from Plagiarism and AI, and grow the number of our followers.

2) We will explain the new contest method for all, and how to take part in it. How to make meaningful comments, and remain active and consistent.

3) Steem promotion in our cities. Simple ways to promote Steemit are taking advantage of social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok. Taking advantage of available mentors and keeping up to date, Avoiding isolating oneself, because we grow better by learning from others.

4) In addition to the above we will have a Q&A session, during which all the attendees can ask questions, air their concerns, and share their experiences using Steemit. This session will be so important and valuable opportunity for us to learn from one another and discover new ways to leverage the Steem blockchain.

5) After the Q&A we will have fun questions and answers Steemit contests, it will center around the activities and users on the platform and winners will win some juicy prizes!

6)Lastly, dance! Dance!! Dance!!!

We hope that you can join us for this upcoming exciting meet up It will be the first time all Nigerian users will meet together, so this Will be an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow Steemians in our country and learn some strategies for success. I want to use this avenue to appeal to the Steemit, Steemit communities, stakeholders, and all users who are moved to support this meetup. The estimated price to successfully hold the meetup is 500,000 Naira which is approximately $315 and 1,867 Steem tokens.

After brainstorming with the planning committee, which is made up of Me, @ngoenyi, @xkool24, and @benton3 we've come up with the following:

5) Logistics Support - 30,000.
6) Lodging Support - 100,000.
7) Miscellaneous - 22,000.
8) Prizes - 40,000.
