Steemit Engagement Challenge (SEC)| S12W4- "My Favorite Household Appliances"

Hello Friends, it's good to be part of this week's engagement contest, the topic is interesting because we all have favourite household appliances, house appliance is referred to as domestic appliances, those items we use in our kitchens, bathrooms, or laundry room. Household appliances include machine which assists in household functions such as cleaning, cooking, food preservation, cooling, and sound systems.

They may be big or small, electric or manual, I have as many as starting from refrigerator, blender, pressing iron, fans, gas cooker, electric kettle, hot vacuum flask, dryer etc. But I will about a few of them.

Among my favourite household appliances are, a refrigerator, Clothes dryer, tabletop gas and vacuum flask. I like these utensils because they ease my work and make life easier for me, let me expatiate on them one by one.

The Refrigerator:

Is one of the most widely used home appliances, many households have a refrigerator, and it comes in different forms, sizes, shapes and capacities, but the good thing is that it serves the same purposes which include:

(1) Food preservation: my refrigerator has been helping me keep food and other edibles(like vegetables, fruits, spices etc.) safe so that I don't need to cook every time, or shop for groceries every day. It prevents my food from getting spoiled and wasted.

(2) Cooling: My Refrigerators provide cooling, which helps to keep my food safe and fresh. I usually enjoy cool drinks and water from my fridge this summer.

(3) Cost effective: I didn't think twice before buying my refrigerator, it's very cost-effective, and I never for once regret purchasing it because it serves me and is completely worth it.

Table Gas Cooker:

I love my tabletop gas cooker, I used it to cook and below is the reason I like it so much:

(1) Optimum Control: the knobs on the gas give me greater control when cooking, I can turn up the heat to achieve whatever temperature I want easily. I have precise control right from the moment I turn the burner on, and all through the cooking process.

(2) It Saves Time: It's normally time-efficient to prepare meals with a gas range. I usually do more in a short time, I will be searing meat and parboiling rice on the other, it makes cooking fast, and I can prepare many dishes at the same time.

(3) It's Easy to Clean: it's made with a stainless steel surface making it easier for me to clean after each cooking.

Clothes Dryer:
My clothes dryer Has been one of the most useful appliances in my home, as a nursing mother, who has a baby and toddlers, I used to wash dresses daily because my kids used to change dresses at least twice a day, and this dryer normally helps especially during the rainy season. With it, I've bid goodbye to a permanent damp cloth.

Vacuum Flask:
The vacuum flask really helped me, as a nursing mother, I normally boil water and fill there for my baby's needs which include drinking, bathing and preparing her meals. It retains heat, so I don't need to boil her water each time I needed, the inside flask is stainless making the water safe and clean. It's easy to carry around so it's very useful for me, and I like it!

I use the above appliances every day, for now, I can't do without them, they're very useful and cost-effective!

I've been using all these appliances for so long now, though I've replaced some that got spoilt, but I always used them in my home.
