Warmest greetings to you all, hope you are all doing fine? I'm so happy to participate on this amazing contest organized by @steem4nigeria, and it's a pleasure to be in this great community.

In your own sentence, what do you think conflict means?

Conflict in my own view is the disagreement between two or more people as a result of an event that occur which might lead to quarrel, contention and war.

The major cause for conflict in my own view is competition, when two parties are competing with each other in order to earn or gain something, the parties are likely yo experience conflict, because both parties have or will not earn that particular thing at once, one party has to get there first and these lead to conflict.

Mention at least 4 ways conflict can be resolved in workplace, home or among friends

In order to resolve a conflict the following should be done:

• Talk directly: Assume that there's no threat of physical violence, talk directly to the person with whom you have the problem and reveal his faults or maybe your fault then apologize.
• choose a good time: Choose a good time with the person whom you have the problem with so that, when he/she is calm you can come to speak about what happened previously trying to make him understand and make him to possibly apologize if it's his/her faults.
• Plan ahead: Try to organize your speech before you get to the you had problems with so as not to increase the problem.
• listen to your opponent side of view and try to show that you understand, which I think is the best possible ways to resolve conflicts in our workplace or with friends around in the community.

Thus there are various ways to resolve conflicts but I think these listed above are likely best ways.

Have you been in conflict with anyone before? How was it resolved?

The only time I remembered being in conflict was the day I went to play soccer on a Friday evening, because I loved playing soccer, everything went well until my team won the other team, we were team blue while the other opponent were green, I was a defender for my team and we scored the team green 3:1 goals as a result of this we were celebrating our victory when the leader from team green rushed and pushed me down like a tornado, then fight broke out until our coach came to intervene, he listened to our side of the and then he advise both of us on what to do and then gave us suspension for one week, I strongly learned my lessons that day not to look down or mock those that you won but you should encourage them.
