My Neighborhood Watch #54 - Reporting Events Around us

It's always exciting to make post in a community like Steem4Nigeria. Before I start I would like to invite two fellow Steemians @crismenia and @eveetim to participate in the contest.

It was my worst June month of life.

Just today only it seems monsoon has arrived in the city at last. Last week also average maximum and minimum temperature were 2 to 3 degrees higher than the normal temperature.

Four fire broke in Kolkata in two Weeks. Unfortunately it has happened in same area or same building. I visited the acropolis mall just few days before the fire outrage to see a movie in Inox.

Just at end of the road there was a fire outrage in a building behind Bankshall Court.

Last week there were many events on separate places throughout India on the eve of World Yoga Day and World Music Day.

There was a tourism fair in the last week. I visited the fair on last Sunday. Since there will be annual festival Durga Puja in the month of October when people get long holidays. Those who want to go outside for tour they usually plan at the fair with the tourist agents and operators. It is a meeting place between the tourist and tourism sector enterprises.

It was held just opposite to the Kolkata High Court inbetween Netaji Indoor stedium and Eden garden. Anandabazar Patrika in support of Ministry of Tourism organised the fair.

I visited the state government stalls of Bihar, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh also. It was found that official of Bihar tourism were not enthusiastic as the officers were seen busy in other thinks. They might be tired after two three days fair duties.

There were many participants including Thomas Cook. They conduct foreign tours.

There were seventy stalls. About fifty thousand people visited the fair in three days. The entry fee per person was twenty INR.
