Greetings friends of Steemit and Steem4Nigeria
It's always exciting to make post in a community like Steem4Nigeria. Before I start I would like to invite two fellow Steemians @jiva34 and @eveetim to participate in the contest.
Along with 1.4 billion people of India I was also happy to know that Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Nigeria at the invitation of President Bola Tinubu in last week. This is first time that an Indian Prime Minister has visited this nation in the last 17 years.
It is one of the most populous nations in the African region and the second largest economy. Both sides are expanding ties in areas like energy and defense.
More than 200 Indian companies have invested in Nigeria over $27 billion. Then there's the diaspora connect about 50,000 Indians or people of Indian origin live in Nigeria. Very few Indians know that Nigeria is a major hub for petroleum products and India is among the largest buyers in 2022.They're well respected for their business acumen. Typically these areas shape a bilateral relationship also.
This is expected that perhaps in this trip there will be some MOU which will be signed related to the defense sector this shows that India is also diversifying it partnership not just like in the recent past India has been reliant on the west when it comes to defense sector, cooperation space sectors, cooperation in technology and other sectors as well.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi awarded with Nigeria's second highest honour, the ‘Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger’ Award. This award was only conferred to Queen Elizabeth other than Narendra Modi outside Nigeria.
Today I don't want to repeat the similar news of festival celebration after Jagatdhatri Puja as less significant celebration of Karthik Puja was held in last week. He is the youngest child of Devi Durga. Actually religious celebrations end with Kartik Puja for the current year. There was no Sarbojanin Utsav but people used to worship at home for the boon by the god with child. Maa Sasthi is considered as major godess to bless children and grant children to those who are childless.
