My Neighborhood Watch #77 - Reporting Events Around us

Greetings friends of Steemit and Steem4Nigeria

It's always exciting to make post in a community like Steem4Nigeria. Before I start I would like to invite two fellow Steemians @jiva34 and @chiagoziee to participate in the contest.

I have already informed that CBI has submitted the charge sheet in the case of financial irregularities against five accused including Sandeep Ghosh, the ex principal of the hospital and Ashish Kumar Pandey then house staff. Trial of the chargesheet could not start as the Government has not given the clearance to High court for unknown reasons which is mandatory as per the law applicable to government employees. The Chief Minister happened to be the Health Minister also.

At the same time the trial of the chargesheet in the rape and murder case of same hospital is going on for last three weeks. The subsequent change sheet is likely to be submitted tomorrow. There is much speculation and suspense about additional accused in the rape and murder case.

Another dubious incident happened when two other doctors named Abhik Dey and Birupakha Biswas have been reinstated in the prestigious State Medical Council. One of them attended a meeting receiving an invitation from the General Secretary of the council. Actually there was an inquiry against both of them and they were accused of 32 unsocial and threatful activities in the medical college campus. Moreover they were in place of occurrence on the day after murder of the PGT doctor in the hall again for unknown reasons. The investigation was done by the state government committee headed by the Heath Secretary as per the directive of CBI and they were suspended.

The final MD and MS exam was going on. So Junior Doctors were busy in their exam. Now the Junior Doctors exam might have finished. They appeared in a press conference and expressed their concerns about the whole movement and their demands. They also made a long march from the office of State Medical Council to Health Secretariat with their charter of demands . They have planned to protest against all unscrupulous activities of the state government in a big way with all sections of people of the society including senior doctors, nurses and parents of the victim.

There are spontaneous movements that are taking place throughout the State by the general public and Abhaya Mancha.
